Smule Ocarina Now Available for iPod Touch

"Today, Smule, a premiere developer of interactive sonic applications for the iPhone, released an enhanced version of the acclaimed Ocarina. With Ocarina 1.3 you can now play it using touch or wind. This feature enables the product to have compatibility with 2nd generation iPod touch devices.

Users of the iPhone will have access to both modes -- wind via blowing against your microphone, or touch. In touch mode, you only need to hold down holes to create sounds and music."

The key here is you no longer need to blow into your iPhone to play Ocarina. Good for us germaphobes. :)

Anyone know more about this? Update: answer via Brian in the comments.

KORG DELTA

via this auction
"rare analog synth from Korg made from 1980 to 1984 and used by many famous acts, including the Human League...

This instrument has two parts, the first being a polyphonic synthesizer with an envelope and a filter that offers both bandpass and lowpass modes.

This section also has a four parts mixable oscillator and its own output on the back.

The second section is a paraphonic string synth, a type of instrument typical of the early polyphonic synth period, similar to an Arp Solina. This section has strings at 16' and 8', stackable. This section also has its own output.

In addition, the instrument has many fine tuning parameters and performance controls such as fm and modulation, a four-way joystick, trigger in AND out and VCF modulation input."
