Networking an Ensemble of Computers with MaxMSP and OSC

via Audio Cookbook where you'll find more detail and the patch.

"Recently in my class with Ali Momeni, we had an exercise surrounding the idea of a networked ensemble of computers. It turns out to be a fairly easy and effective technique. In a couple of hours we had fifteen computers all talking to each other by sending OSC messages over a wireless network."

Roland SH-32 Synthesizer

via this auction

I don't know why, but I always liked the look of this synth. The fact that Roland went with ARP-like sliders always intrigued me as well. Anyone know what other Roland gear had them? The Roland EF-303 and MC-09 PhraseLab come to mind.

Future Retro 777

via this auction
"RECENTLY GONE OVER BY THE FUTURE RETRO MAN HIMSELF - JERED FLICKINGER-. HERE IS WHAT HE DID: Installed a new backup battery, and the latest OS, updated the oscillator temperature compensation, cleaned and retuned the unit, and also updated the power supply capacitor and the chassis grounding. Needless to say the 777 is an incredible machine. Part analog synth monster and killer sequencer! Can also be used as a Midi to CV/Gate converter with ACCENT!! COSMETICALLY it looks great except for a few scratches and chips in the black paint as seen in the photos!! The 777 can do the TB-303 thing very well, but the added oscillator, sub-oscillators, noise, 7 POLE filter and tons of modulation options make the 777 a beast! The analog style sequencer is one of the best out there!!"

Description via akorbeti aka SynthFrog: "I uploaded some photos of my works. They include Mr. Braska too. There are almost 580 photos in there, of various stuff. From wide open synths like the SY77 and the QY 70 (I have to gut the QY 700 too). And some side stuff like eg. a colored octal clock that counted time in octal, by lighting RGB leds. B was bit 0, G was bit 1 and R was bit 2.

Etching stuff, UV box stuff, you name it..

If you leave a comment on a photo, I will give you detailed info about it. It is not too easy to remember and comment on all of these photos :)
