Evenfall Mini Modular

via this auction

"This auction is for the ultra rare Evenfall Mini Modular!

Designed as a collaboration between Grant Richter (designer of the famous Wiard 300 series modular) and Chris McDonald, the Evenfall sounds as amazing as it's heritage would imply. This one is "factory-built" and not one of the few kit versions sold.

The condition is very, very good / near-mint.

Many functions are packed into this slender 3U synthesizer. 2x VCO, 2x VCA, 2x LFO, 2x envelopes, 2x mults, lag processor, sample and hold, waveshaper, MIDI to CV converter and, of course, a fantastic filter.

Like with the Arp 2600 and Cwejman S1, the synthesizer has sensible normalized routings, interruptable via patch cables. Very convenient for workflow but still as flexible as a proper modular.

It comes with eight patch cables and the original Wiard style PSU."

Orchestral Manouvers In The Dark - The Lights Are Going Out (Null Object Remix) by Null Object
"Wasn't OMD a great band? Actually were they a great band? I have only heard this one song and I thought it was ace but I felt it needed to be rammed head first into a KORG MS20. This was the result. I also tried to ram cabbage head first into a KORG MS20 but I had trouble finding the head."

"PIXILLATION
"With computer-produced images and Moog-synthesized sound Pixillation is in a sense an introduction to the electronics lab. But its forms are always handsome, its colors bright and appealing, its rhythms complex and inventive." - Roger Greenspun, N. Y. Times. Golden Eagle-Cine 1971. Moog sound by Gershon Kingsley; Version III: pulls the viewer into a primal experience. Awards:Red Ribbon Award for Special Effects from The National Academy of Television, Arts & Sciences; The Smithsonian Institution and The United States Department of Commerce, Travel Services for Man & His World at the Montreal Expo, '71; collection The Museum of Modern Art. Commissioned by AT&T. (4 min.)"

Strobetronic with the orb filter

YouTube via grandtippler
"The Strobetronic makes noise, the noise is nasty.
For more info and the Etsy listing: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?...

This unit makes a huge range of strange noises. You start by setting the controls on the top of the unit, this sets up a sweep on the LEDS, by moving the LEDs around the light sensors a basic noise loop is set up. Combinations of frequency, volume and the two LEDs make for interesting sounds."

EDP Wasp Analog Synth

via this auction

"The Wasp is a quirky little synthesizer that, despite its toyish look, is quite capable of funky analog sounds. It really is black and yellow too, just like the insect it is named for. Probably its most distinguishing feature is the keyboard and its non-moving touch-sensitive keys. That's right, the flat little keys are only sensitive to your electro-static touch. It's a nifty technology for 1978. There's also a little speaker built-in to the synth and EDP's own pre-MIDI connectors for linking to other Wasps and EDP gear and can be used with Kenton gear to control via MIDI."

Note the vidoe in the auction and below if from 2008 and likely not the unit for sale, but who knows...

Roland GR-300 Vintage Analog Guitar Synth

via this auction where you'll find more pics and audio while up. This one is for sale via joness.com. I'm guessing the demos and pics in the auction are on the site as well. The seller has a number of other guitar-synth related items listed here.

Metasonix TM-3

via this auction

"Metasonix TM-3 serial #5 (!) - dual oscillator with sub osc. You probably know what this is if you're looking at it. Tracks Hz/V cv and will also track audio pitch - sounds unlike anything else out there. Unit works fine, this is the gold (pre-yellow) version. There are some holes that have been drilled in the sides as the picture shows from previous owner drilling to mount in rack."

Sold For: US $480.00
