"Hi. This is a new song written in an alternative rock style. This song is still a work in progress and the final version of it will be uploaded after it is more refined. My sister is playing the Yamaha Motif 6 and is playing the bass and guitar background live. I am playing the D-50 and Alpha Juno-1 lead.

Bleep-it prototype version 4

Bleep-it prototype version 4 from Michael Una on Vimeo.

"The latest and most-close-to-being-final prototype of my analog sequencer synthesizer.

This video is to demonstrate how one might actually use this device, rather than being a explanatory demo video.

The Bleep-it here is being synched with Ableton Live via the clock input. The audio signal is then being run through autotune and phaser.

The final version will have an additional onboard filter to transform the output wave from square to triangle."

Stevie Wonder Gives Haiti Victim a Yamaha Motif 88 and Kurzweil

via the Roland S. Martin blog. Synths for Haiti! Never thought I'd say that! :)
There's a follow-up video of him receiving the Motif 88, but I couldn't find it.

Bill Gates and a Clavia Nord Lead

No, he doesn't play it. Just spotted it watching the video. I think it's a Nord Lead 3.

THEREMIN - THERESYNTH

via this auction
"Get Your Very Own Theresynth™ - Only Available Here!
Be the first on your block to own the new LABOZ Theresynth™! It's a handheld, analog synth that makes music from light. Unlike traditional instruments with strings and keys, the Theresynth™ has no boundaries - you play it in the air using light as your sound source. You'll get unlimited tones and octaves by combining the "speed" & "range" controls. The momentary trigger/on-off switch allows you to play individual notes. Then turn on one of the Magic LED Wand's 7 strobe settings for some intense oscillations, creating outerworldly sounds & new dimensions (works especially well in the dark). It's perfect for dramatic, live performances, recordings or just jamming on-the-go, via the built in speaker. For a limited time only, the Theresynth™ comes with a free, Magic LED Strobe wand!

The Theresynth™ is battery-powered (1-9V), photocell theremin/synthesizer - hence the name Theresynth™. She has a 1/4" output, built-in speaker & spaced-out, analog sounds. They're handmade and built to last in a solid, aluminum, painted, "Electro Harmonix" case, with white, boutique knobs, high-quality photocell, red momentary/latch trigger, purple & white wiring, clear rubber feet and red LED.

The Theresynth™ comes signed, dated and numbered inside. It's an amazing, little, musical device with lots of applications, especially for getting real analog synth sounds quickly live or in the studio. They're also available in orange or white. Visit CHAMBER OF SOUNDS for other options. You won't find the Theresynth™ anywhere else, as each is meticulously handmade here by me in Tucson, Arizona. I was just at the NAMM Show and there was nothing like the Theresynth™ in the house! See it on the NAMM Oddities Blog"
