Lady in black
YouTube via attorks — May 18, 2010 — "Another improvisation with the Synthesizers.com Q960 sequencer now connected to the Q962 sequential switch. I guess the camera angle could be somewhat wider so you could see a little bit more of the actions but I reckoned another take would not give the same music.
The Q960 is synchronized by the Doepfer MAQ16/3 and rows 1 and 2 are used which are alternated by the Q962. The Q960 drives the Synthesizers.com Modular. The Oakley Equinoxe phaser is connected between the Q150 VCF and Q108 VCA. Stage 5 of the Q960 is connected to the frequency CV input to give an accent on that stage.
Row 1 of the MAQ16/3 does a 4-step sequence and drives the Ian Fritz Teezer Through-Zero VCO which sine wave is fed to the Resonant LoPass Gate. Row 2 of the MAQ16/3 I vary manually between a 4-, 6- and 8-step sequence. This row drives the self-built Modular.
The music is dedicated to a lady in black."

Ryoichi Kurokawa - rheo: 5 horizons, Audiovisual Installation 2010
YouTube via MediaArtTube — May 18, 2010 — "Kurokawa composes time based sculpture with digital generated materials and field recorded sources, and the minimal and the complexities coexist there. Kurokawa accepts sound and imagery as a unit not as separately, and constructs very exquisite and precise computer based works with the audiovisual language. That shortens mutual distance, the reciprocity and the synchronization of sound and visual composition. He also performed live-visual for musicians such as HUMAN AUDIO SPONGE(ex.YMO: Sketch Show + Ryuichi Sakamoto). In recent years, Kurokawa is invited to numerous noted international festivals and museums in Europe, US and Asia including TATE MODERN[UK], ARS ELECTRONICA[AT], transmediale[DE], Shanghai eARTS[CN], MUTEK[CA], and SONAR[ES] for concert and exhibition, and he continues to be an active presence on the international stage.

KORG POLY-61 HQ DEMO - VINTAGE SYNTHESIZER 1983
YouTube via AnalogAudio1 — May 18, 2010 — "The Korg Poly-61 was successor of the classic Polysix. It has 2 oscillators per voice and digital parameter access - like the Poly-800, which came later. The Poly-61 has DCO's and 12 dB/okt. filters for every voice (unlike the Poly-800, which has a single filter for all voices). Originally, the Poly-61 came without MIDI. Later models had MIDI built in. Finally, the Poly-61M was released, which had MIDI as standard.
This video shows what a Poly-61 is capable of. I recorded the sounds without any additional effects or eq."

Akai S-950 Resampling (Enough Already!)
YouTube via repeatle — May 18, 2010 — "Resampling at half bandwith a few times. The S-950 makes the sample sound gritty and lofi and after a few too many pushes on that button, the S-950 thinks it's enough.
The loop I'm playing is from a track by Kondens"
