"Hi this is a recording of 4 separate stereo tracks using the MacBeth Mk1 Modular Synthesizer (prototypes)
The main bassline is 2 x Mk1 Oscillators fed via the Mk1 8 Input Mixer into the Mk1 Filter 'A'. Also used on this track is the Mk1 Dual EGs module with discrete VCA. The Mk1 Filter is used in 6dB/Octave, 12dB/Octave and 24dB/Octave modes. All played manually via the X-Series Analogue Keyboard Controller! Some delay and reverb added- hope you enjoy this demo- Ken"
"The author of the firmware for the Plan B Model 28 Tap Clock, is offering an upgrade that enhances the ability of the unit to synchronize with external clock signals.
A web page listing two service points (US/UK) for acquiring this firmware, and plans for a DIY addition to the module for better phase synchronization , are explained.
This effort intends to be "pro bono" with no charges for the firmware itself and the service points charging only what it costs to perform the required modifications rang ing from; 1) Sending a replacement microcontroller; 2) adding a transistor circuit (for those loath to DIY); 3) For some units, crystal/micro remediation.
