Sequential Circuits 'Drumtraks' Drum Machine from the year 1984
The SCI Drumtraks is a very easy to use 8-bit sample-based drum machine from the early eighties with a very powerfull sound. 13 drum sounds with programmable tuning and level control. The Drumtraks can also send DIN sync and clock.
This demo video shows the instruments, pattern record and and some pattern of the Drumtraks." I used no external effects, EQ or compression. Only the pure Drumtraks sound."
Plugiator Demo 2- Prodyssey and B4000
YouTube via kennykeyboard | June 30, 2010
"The virtual analog synthesizer is largely preset in live use but quite programmable with the computer thanks to familiar GUI. I just play sounds from the ARP Odyssey model and a smaller riff from the tonewheel organ model. My cat sits on the patio table listening, purring, and sometimes getting in the way."
Tek Kit HD Step Sequencer DJ Mixer for the iPad, DJ Set Part One
YouTube via iPadTekKit | July 01, 2010
"We are about to do a massive update to Tek Kit. We have added a heap of new features including: full step sequencing capabilities, more effects, custom user samples, a swing function and master tube distortion. (just to mention a few) There are still a few loose ends to tidy up, and a bit of user interface work to be done but the end product is a fully fledged electronic music production and performance tool. This video is a sneak peak before the final release occurs, and is just a mess around session just to show off some of the features, and uses a couple of tracks composed by Proxycon (one of our fantastic contributors) as well as a few fill in beats made by the Tek Kit team.
Long Live The Beat!"

Reason Micro Tutorial - Live Sampling 101
YouTube via PropellerheadSW | June 30, 2010
"If it was good for Trevor Horn, The Beastie Boys, and pretty much every pioneering producer in the last 30 years... then it's good for us too. Live Sampling is back in Reason 5 and Record 1.5. But before you start pitching your burp noises up 3 octaves we thought we'd teach you the basics of the process."

AVR Oscillator v. 0.1
YouTube via rpocc | July 01, 2010
"A very raw version of voltage controlled oscillator built on single ATTiny13A powered from 3V battery and working at 1.2 MHz (default).
Osc generationg pulse wave with wavelength proportional to applied voltage («Volt/Length» response)
408-byte wavelength table and simple code is required to get V/Oct response. In case of ATTiny (10-bit ADC, 8-bit MCU) hash-table method should be faster then pure calculations.
WIP. Project goal is extremely simple and cheap VCO for Lo-fi applications."
MIDI Messages from ATTiny13A

Looped MIDI melody from ATTiny13A to Doepfer Dark Energy
"rpocc | July 01, 2010
ATTiny13A MCU generationg MIDI stream with a fragment of traditional New Year song "Yolochka" (The christmas spruce) and controlling famous analog MIDI synth.
Source is pubbed at http://rpocc.quorum.su/diy/elochka.rar
MCU has only 1 KB of program memory, but I think, it can fit 3—4 times larger song data. Next goal — to select MIDI Data to be transmitted and generate real time messages such as Program or Control Change"
Lunetta 1, starve pots LED show
YouTube via JvGrieken | July 01, 2010
"I've added some logic gates and the melodygenerator finally got off the breadboard and onto the main board.
What you see from left to right: 4040 divider(red), 4017/4051 Melodygenerator(blue), 4051 multiplexer(green), 4015 shift register(yellow), 4024 divider(red), 4011 NAND gate(yellow), 4030 XOR gate(yellow).
Outside of the picture there is a 40106 quad oscilator to provide the clocks and audio signals and there is 1 starve pot for the board and 1 for the quad oscilator on the breadboard.
The video is mostly a free running patch with me using the starve-pots to control the power to the board and oscilators, it gets a little wild sometimes :)"
