DIFFERENT TRANSLATOR MODULES CAN BE LOADED INTO THE BACK OF THE UNIT. THE CURRENT MODULE IN THE UNIT TRANSLATES SPANISH, FRENCH, AND GERMAN TO THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE WHICH IS THE SYNTH VOICE (ROBOT) YOU WILL HEAR. NOTE THAT THIS IS NOT A VOCODER BUT A SOLID STATE SPEECH SYNTH.

THE TI LANGUAGE TUTOR UTILIZES THE SAME SOLID STATE VOICE TECHNOLOGY AS THE SPEAK AND SPELL/SPEAK AND ADD. ALTHOUGH UTILIZING THE SAME VOICE SYNTH TECHNOLOGY THE LANGUAGE TUTOR FEATURES A MORE COMPLEX SYSTEM IN WHICH YOU CAN CREATE PHRASING AND OF COURSE TRANSLATE THE PHRASE.

This video demonstrates the use of the Minor Chord scale (called "Minor 2" in v1.0) to play dance chords over a bassline.

In this scale, as well as the Major Chords scale (aka Major 2) and Trance scale, all the notes on the bottom row form one chord, and all the notes on the top row form a different chord.

Touching keys to the left or right will transpose these chords up or down.

There are other chords you can make by combining keys from the top and bottom rows - these will be demonstrated in a future advanced lesson."
