"Belgium minimal techno / elektro artist Aurex reviews the Code, Block, and Ohm64. He also made some really kick ass sequencers for all of them. Thanks to TurnLab for the video."

Din Sync OSC303s on the Table

via Din Sync

"As you can see I'm on schedule for the planned February release of OSC303. Since this module is limited edition it will begin shipping next week for those already on the waiting/reminder list, the demand for which has been quite high. Once the list is completed I'll announce it for general release. "

ADDAC System Java Simulators

via ADDAC System

"What do they do exactly??
So these Java Simulators will behave the closest possible to the real thing.
Simulators have audio output, the simulated CV output controls a sine wave frequency as if a VCO was connected to the module output."

follow-up to part 1 here
"http://micronaut.bandcamp.com

The second workflow exploration/live improvisation with this set-up. As with the previous video, the Apple //e with Roland CMU-800R is in the driver's seat. It is providing the drums with its internal sounds, and is controlling the modular synth, the Korg MS-20, and the Yamaha CS-5 (out of frame underneath the MS-20) via CV/Gate.

The main melody line that comes in after a bit is coming from a Reflex MeeBlip, which you can just see sitting on the desk. I'm controlling it with a Snyderphonics Manta controller.

Effects used: Roland RE-201 Space Echo, Eventide TimeFactor delay, Realistic Electronic Reverb delay, Audio Damage Eos reverb, Lexicon 300 reverb."

Davey Jones theme from Pirates of The Caribbean on synth

"Better sound :D finally!
This is Davey Jones's theme which he plays on an organ in pirates of the caribbean, played on my synthesizer :)

Also, If anyone has tips on putting sound and video thats out of sync back into sync please share your information :)

P.S. also notice my Synth's trademark discombobulated middle E note, sometimes it gives a nice edge to my synth making it sound old and wobbly like an old record but when you dont want it to sound like that its a problem... I need an external "KCV" (Keyboard Controll Volatge; I think thats the correct term)"

Roland SH 09 - I bet you never thought it could do this!

YouTube via JingleJoe | January 20, 2011 |

"This synth has huge potential for creating sounds, putting the headphone output into the external input yeilds strange and incredible noises, I didn't use the sample and hold/random LFO to make any of these sounds, I didn't connect that other synth either, it's just the Roland on it's own! They are all due to the feedback loop and sonic weirdness!"

Roland Sh09 APOCALYPSE (eat your heart out Moog)

JingleJoe | October 21, 2010 |

"Some improvisation and playing with an amazing sound on my new (old) synth. Sawtooth waveform first, then pulse width modulated square wave.
Acheived by putting the output back into the external input."

"Did small jam in the middle of a day, inspired by the recent aquisition of a Makenoise René and a lot of coffee. Everything was done in one take. Loads of stuff going on, really enjoying René."
