Rhythm Core Alpha Song: Greetings to Japan
YouTube via LuckyButtonPusher | February 06, 2011 |
"100% Rhythm Core Alpha. This DSiWare is great!!! I've got six handheld music apps until now (RCA, Korg DS-10, RYTMIK, Music On: Drums, Music On: Retro Keyboard and Nanoloop. RCA is one of the best! Many great features (Piano roll, ADSR, up to 64 steps per pattern, a lot of drum and melody tracks etc.)
Amazing: You can play all your patterns (blocks) in realtime and even change the chords of your created tunes automatically. LIVE !!!
Thank you very much for this awesome DSiWare release and keep up the good work, SoftEgg!!!
My suggestions for the next RCA version:
- undo function
- higher rate of very good samples
- echo as realtime effect (now echo is possible, but only with real notes in the blocks)
- using the button "Start" for start+stop the current pattern (block)"

Thing On A Spring (Chipophone)
YouTube via lftkryo | February 06, 2011 |
"One of Rob Hubbard's earliest tunes. The slide effects are triggered by pedals; other pedals are mapped to drum sounds. I goofed up considerably at the end, but decided to upload anyway. Hope you don't mind too much."

Original Orange & Black The Harvestman Malgorithm
via this auction
"This is one of the first editions of the Malgorithm. Has # 12 on the back of the face plate.
Malgorithm is the world's first voltage-controlled bitcrusher.
Both bit depth and sampling rate are independently controllable by knob or control voltage. Additionally, a primitive digital waveshaper can make your signal hurt, with eight different modes (and optional rectification afterwards.)
Use the Malgorithm to bring external signals into aesthetic compliance with the rest of the Harvestman system. Enable eloquence through spectral profanity.
specifications
20kHz maximum sampling rate, down to 200Hz
8 bits maximum resolution, down to 1 bit
10Vpp signal output
Input attenuation. Hard analog clipping on hot signals if desired.
Voltage controlled bit depth and sampling rate with attenuators. Manual control/CV offset.
Control voltages are processed at the same priority as audio input.
Toggle switches for rectification of signal, as well as destructive bitwise waveshaping: conditional bit-swap and XOR feedback functions.
Panel size: 9HP
Current consumption: 50ma or less"
General Electric Cased Voice of Saturn Synthesizer
"This auction is for an aptly named synthesizer, built into an antique metal chasis that once house an old General Electric multimeter. This is true synth DIY goodness.
Home-made, one of a kind synth that uses the Voice of Saturn circuit. Using 3 oscilators and LFO control, it produces an endless supply of drones, bleeps, bloops, buzzes, sweeps and noise. It can be hooked up to a sequencer and controlled, but it does not track note for note - rather you'll get organized rhythmic patterns of notes. Check out the video of the synth in action and the samples here (coming soon) that demonstrate some of the loop and composition possibilities."

Sequential Circuits PROPHET 5 Rev 3.2 in Original Box
via this auction"This auction is for an extremely mint Prophet 5 synthesizer made by Sequential Circuits in 1981. This Prophet 5 has sat idle in the original box for nearly 30 years and because of this is in excellent cosmetic and sonic condition. It functions completely! The wood is very dark still as this synth has not seen sunlight for most of its life. It was played in a studio environment back when it was purchased, and then put in the original box for storage for 3 decades."
