"Synth nerds requested a video of direction being modulated on René in a way that is similar to modulating DIRection on the BRAINS/ Pressure Points sequencing system. This patch uses a Harvestman Herz Donut for sound source, Make Noise QMMG for Low Pass Gate, MATHS for clock and envelope (triggered function) generation, 4ms Rotating Clock Divider and of course, René!"

"light sensitive device responding to ambient infrared light from the sun. At sunset and sunrise the intensity of light causes the array of 64 infrared photosensors to randomly trigger for about five minutes (before this time they are over-saturated and cannot reset to an "off" state, and after this time there is not enough light to produce an "on" message). This stream of random data was sent to a patch in Max/MSP which moves the arpeggiated three note chord around a two dimensional layout of notes.
