"The VS totally unique in it's architecture, and produces a great deal of texture compared with other analogue polysynths. This comes from vector mixing of 4 digital waveforms, both programable (via 5 point envelope) and real-time (via joystick). This provides a complex front end "VCO" that evolves in interesting ways compared with static waveforms, followed by full featured analog VCA's and filters. There are 2 lfo's and extensive modulation routings. The arpeggiator features are simply the best. Each of 8 voices can be panned individually on a given patch. The midi implementation is quite extensive. Best of all it stays in tune, but sounds rich and thick like a true Prophet..."

This is a rare, vintage jitter and hit synthesizer for producing far out sounds and noises. This was built for telcom equipment testing but is now used in electronic music. It can both generate tones, as well as process or modulate any incoming signal(great fun on drums). the harmonic distortion unit on the top half is a partly-separate unit."

"I think the Mos-Lab 970 is one of the most beautiful panel designs ever for a synth module. It is a combination of several functions in one module. This module was only available for about a year then discontinued so it is quite rare. (I've been told I may own one of the only two that exist in North America) I'm going to sell it since I don't use it a lot and need the room of other modules."
