Sweetwater at Winter NAMM 2012 - Pigtronix Infinity Looper Overview
YouTube Uploaded by SweetwaterSound on Jan 21, 2012
"David Koltai, Founder of Pigtronix, introduced the revolutionary Infinity Looper at Winter NAMM 2012, and we're pretty impressed. This unique looper pedal offers advanced controls over a pair of stereo loops and features powerful functions such as analog limiting and sample-accurate MIDI sync, which provides guitarists, DJs, and electronic musicians with an easy way to integrate DAW software with their live rigs. It also provides you with an AUX Loop output, ideal for sending looped audio to stage monitors. VSTs for the iPad.
iPads on eBay
Update: a note on the VST support. Aside from the more popular VSTs out there, what comes to mind are all the free VSTs like the one below. If done right developers that offered these for free could make a buck or two per app. By done right, the interface can make or break an app on the iPad. Small knobs can be hard to turn unless they act more like a selector for horizontal slider editing, meaning your "grab" a knob and then move horizontally up and down to turn it.

XAOC Pugtronix TABULA RASA • SD card driven wavetable oscillator
"This is NOT XAOC module, just our take on panel design for Tabula Rasa wavetable oscillator DIY kit by Pugtronix.
OK, It's 10 hp wide, and our mods/improvements are:
• Attenuators for wavetable surfing and FM
• Exponential/linear switch for FM input.
• Additional FM input for more fun
• Fine tuning knob"

"This is acctually Mk 2's circuit but with oscillators controlled by dials and the whole thing mounted on a handy plank for ease of use :D
This one can be played almost like a trumpet combined with a guitar, but with fewer notes in no traditional scale; it's acctually an inverse harmonic series O_o"
