"Nifty little synth, very compact, and has a great analogue character. Simple vco->vcf->vca architecture, with a master control for pitch which ranges from very low to very high frequencies. LFO also goes up to quite high frequencies."

"These are not made anymore. This is Virtual Analog Circuit Modelling, not true analog. A friend who owns an original Minimoog and I did extensive side by side comparison tests, based on *knob positions*. We were stunned by the results. This is the closest you can get to a Minimoog, without buying an actual one for $3000. The front panel is faithfully recreated, right down to the font used on the original." These can be polyphonic as well.

This is a video of one of our workshop participants making a din with their microsynth, and a couple of the soft, felted, conductive sensors we had everyone make. These sensors connect to the synth hardware for controlling the frequency of the pitch and also for jumping the signal around the breadboard for creating feedback loops and signal modulations.

When I heard this song the first time back 1981 my imidiate thoughts were "WHAT?!?!? Is this supposed to be ABBA?" It was so far away from what I had heard before and I really didn't like it.
I still think it is a weird song but as I grew older I began to like things that were a little weird. And since somebody commented that it was about time to post another ABBA song I decided to play this one."
