Slight Header Update
Massive Hanging Modular Synth Wall Live Performance
Modular Synth Live Performance 1 from Gregg Wilson on Vimeo.
Live performance on my modular. No edits or overdubs. I adjusted levels and added some reverb and delay plugins afterwards to improve the mix. Let me know what you think.
Modular Synth Live Performance 2 from Gregg Wilson on Vimeo.
My second live modular piece exploring different forms of feedback. The main ambience is derived from a Stilton/Evin209 feedback matrix. Instead of using fx pedals the 4 channels of the Stilton send and return to a DAW running a single plugin on each channel which included 2 reverbs, a delay, and a tremolo effect. All audio recorded live, mixed in post. Let me know what you think.
Modular Synth Live Performance 3 from Gregg Wilson on Vimeo.
A projector, a slide guitar, and a modular synth.
Modular Synth Live Performance 4 from Gregg Wilson on Vimeo.
Electric guitar, drum machines, and modular
You might remember this one from this previous post.

So, is it JSH or JHS?
Roland EG-101 Groove Keyboard with Built-in Speakers

via this auction
Pic of the power supply below. These supposedly have the same synth engine as the MC-303. The are pretty limited in programming. I always wondered if they could be edited on a deeper level via MIDI sysex or even MIDI CCs. If anyone knows, feel free to comment. A nice iPad editor could open it up if so. Part of me wanted one for the built in speakers and simplicity of it.
Update via pulseminus in the comments:
"yes, it can be done via sysex..see jjchop.wordpress.com or www.squest.com"
I'm not seeing the option to edit the oscillator wave shapes in either eidtor. They appear to give you access to the same controls on the front panel for remote access while working with your DAW.
Korg MonoPoly with Synthwood Case & Synhouse MIDI
via this auction
"Comes with Synhouse's MIDIJack installed. The original (cheap) cabinet has been replaced by a beautiful maple quilted cabinet made by Synthwood - the pictures don't do it justice. Extra parts included: 2x original knobs; a Korg Polysix CHORUS board; and a Korg Polysix control board for the CHORUS. These boards were taken out of a working Polysix many years ago and I have no idea if they work or not - it is very likely that these boards do not work any longer and may be in need of repair. At some point I wanted to add the Polysix's CHORUS effect to the MP, but never got around to doing it. So here they are in case you are interested in doing the mod. Comes with a copy of the manual and MIDIJack's docs."

mono mini jack output
blue & green LED
Pitch down control
Distortion/Feedback oscillation control
Two Way glitch/randomness switch
switchable noise mod with control knob - this also gives the glitch/random mods more madness when switched on"
