Kebu - Michael's Anthem

"This tune was recorded using only a 4 track cassette recorder and a drum machine triggering arpeggios on the synths. No sequencers or computers used (except for mastering). First, the track was programmed into the drum machine. The three trigger outputs were used for clocking (giving rhythms) to the arpeggiators. Then, the backing track was played back and the arpeggiators played (chords or notes). This was submixed into two tracks (stereo) on the cassette deck. The melody lines and solos were overdubbed using the two remaining tracks. The last additions (noise bursts, doubling of the C-part) were added during mixdown of the song.

The song is also available on my debut album, which is out now.

Synths used: Roland TR-808; Korg Mono/Poly, M500, Polysix, Poly-61, PE-2000.
Other equipment: SansAmp GT2, Lexicon MPX500, Vesta spring reverbs, Allen & Heath GS1, Alesis IO26,
Camera: Canon HF M406"

mostly verbos: inside the drone

"A little 6-space with mainly Verbos modules: 262v, 254v and 288v with a Buchla 281e. Sorry for the poor audio from my flipcam, ugh. But, hopefully, you can enjoy the fun little rhythms from feeding back the 254v and the sweeps of the various stages of the 262v."

ANALOG SYNTH CS-30 demo.

"ヤマハのアナログ・モノフォニック・シンセサイザー CS-30 で遊んでみました。
※CS-30の他にエフェクタ、イコライザを使用しています。
※動画変換の際にかなり音質が劣化してしまいました・・・残念。

this is not reconstructed instrument.
I used some external effect units(reverb, chorus, and equalizer).
As tips, the control voltage output terminal of a sequencer is connected with an external voltage input terminal in a back panel, and the filter is controlled.
(It can be heard in the robot voice 2)"

"A freaky little box

The mods are:

Switched 1/4inch mono jack output - Put this through your amp, PC/Laptop, mixer or Effects unit to further enhance the circuit bent sounds!

Latching On/Off switch

Blue LED

Green Momentary button - Press this to go through each of the 5 bits of vocal fun

Pitch up/down control with doll head - Yes to make it even stranger you can control the speed of the voices for high squeeky speech, to very low deep and freaky singing with a turn of the dolls head!

I have decorated the box with little stickers and the dolls limbs sticking out of the box. This is just plain weird!

Runs on 3 AAA batteries"

Ultimate Percussion k2-x 8 channel analogue drum synth

"The item has 8 drum channels - 6 tom (i think they are toms anyway!), bass and snare.

Each channel has its own input and output and there are general outputs for left, right and phones. Each channel has a factory sound plus a user controlled manual sound via the following controls -

Level
Pan
Sensitivity
Decay
Bite
Noise Filter
Noise/VCO balance
VCO Pitch
VCO Sweep

In addition it has 6 inbuilt rhythms with speed control, which it proudly calls, the "Micro Sequencer"

Overall, the sounds are not as good as the Simmons SDSV, but this is still a very interesting piece of kit, lots of pigeon street sounds and opportunities for early 80's analogue sounds.

The item is quite large and heavy..."
