"Each doll contains a small sound circuit (a 556 or an attiny). Sound is controlled by pots attached to each arm. In addition, some dolls have one or several body contacts, a light sensor (photoresistor), an LED or a switch. Power supply is 9V (square battery). A jack (6.35mm) for sound output is located on the head."
Switched 1/4inch mono jack output - Put this through your amp, PC/Laptop, mixer or Effects unit to further enhance the circuit bent sounds!
Latching On/Off switch
Blue LED Green Momentary button - Press this to go through each of the 5 bits of vocal fun
Pitch up/down control with doll head - Yes to make it even stranger you can control the speed of the voices for high squeeky speech, to very low deep and freaky singing with a turn of the dolls head!
I have decorated the box with little stickers and the dolls limbs sticking out of the box. This is just plain weird!
"Timex 80 Stasis Capsule - Shaved the dolls hair off and applied white insulation tape for the top & skirt. I've also put a Rainbow LED round her neck, Red LED on her tummy, Green LED right wrist and Blue LED left wrist. These light up when you press the vital signs buttons which trigger the sounds.
Here are the Ben 10 mods: switched 1/4inch jack output 4 momentary buttons for each sound Pitch (speed) Up/Down Control Red On/Off switch for the 4 way rotary sound selector. Ben 10 sound FX circuit inside for some great Sci-fi sounds"
"Kinda a silly video, but I have fun walking around my hood today with my portable jam box, made from out lofi amp kit and a messup up toy drum machine."

A great way to perform live! Take this kit and mount it in the case of your choice and you can take it anywhere, powered by one 9V battery (or Wall-Wart if you like)."

"Extremely strange! The Harp plays a selection of well known classical & popular music. You rub the string looking contacts along the transparent plastice to play notes for these tunes, go as fast or slow as you like.
The mods are:
Mono mini jack output (speaker removed) - The output is at the back of this unit. Put this through your amp, mixer, PC or Laptop
On/Off Toggle Switch (round the back)
Bright UV LED - Very bright, flashes with the notes. Looks wonderful in low light conditions, would be a good thing to have going while playing live!
Pitch Up/Down Control - makes the notes higher or lower for drones - Barbie Head Control added with hair cut and lightly coloured - If you don't want this please let us know, we'll exchange it for a normal Control Knob.
Red momentary button (on the side) - This will reset the unit but also says "I Love You" each time you do this.
The unit has some marks on it - Runs on Three AA batteries"

Casper
sono stata progettata,
prodotta e replicata
in scatola mi han chiuso,

Mute the voices Switch (constant low noise synth sound)
Two Noise Synth switches - these noises react to Barbies voice and mounth movements, they add extra bass and noise to her voices and when Barbies voice is switched off it just leaves these sounds which are really good!"
"I don't know what is most disturbing: This version of the well known Aqua hit or the fact that I actually own a Barbie.
Anyway, this time I have experimented with some alternative light. I used one of those pinspots that has a rotating colored disc in front of the bulb. I played the melody on the SH-2000 synthesizer and used the Technics organ for the rest of the arrangement."
And the original:
Barbie Girl- Aqua (Music Video)
You'd think there would be a better version on YouTube but I couldn't find it.
YouTube via organfairy "Originally played by ELO in a somewhat more rocking style compared to this allmost Barbie-like interpretation. This time I use the old Roland TR66 Rhytm Arranger for the beat. It is all analog so it cannot be syncronized to anything - except if someone adds it as a retrofit. So everything in this video had to be played manually using multitrack technology. And before somebody points it out: Yes, the arpeggio on the Roland synthesizer is inspired by the Telex version of "Twist a st.tropez"."
YouTube via bubagoo "for more info visit: http://www.casperelectronics.com/. All sounds are generated by the modular synth (right) and two heavily modified barbie karaoke machines which have been mounted into a single housing (top left).
The synth is feeding through and being processed by one of the barbies. The second barbie is generating it's own sounds. Both barbies are being controlled by the step sequencer (bottom left). Watch the lights on the step sequencer to see how it corresponds with the sound. The synth is being controlled by the Pulse divider (bottom center) and melody sequencer (top right).
All three sequencers are sync'd together using a common clock signal.
