Cyberfest open call for sound artists. 23-28 Nov, St.Petersburg, Russia

"Hello, and greetings from Saint-Petersburg, Russia.

This November 23-28 will mark the 6th international fest of Cybernetic arts - Cyberfest.

We are making an open call for sound artists to participate. The Sound-art program will be demonstrated in a gallery with special sound booths. The main title and theme of the event this year is 'At Heaven's Door'. If you have any sonic ideas for the event, please e-mail me with some info about you, the concept, and sound file(s) links. E-mail: outoff@mail.ru

Information about artists will be presented in a printable catalog, and in addition, this year we will start audio catalogs on CD compilations.

In previous years, our headliners included NY Harvestworks artists Hans Tammen and Carol Parkinson, Phill Niblock, Michael Schumacher and many more!

"A test (that begins around the 05:00 minute mark) with a very simple 1 Oscillator VCO I made out of a single 555 chip, output fed through ESX for some effects.
Some notes are slightly out of tune but the test was a success.

Maybe I'll add a VCF, VCA and an EG to that circuit, once I figure all those out."
