Make Noise Echophon + Model 101 = Echophon 101

"A quick intro to my new eurorack setup. This video shows the echophon in a more basic "delay pedal" setting. There is no modulation patching. The Model 101 is fed into the echophon and the echophon output is recorded directly with no post processing.

Random Looping Sequencer

Random Looping Sequencer from VoltageCtrlR on Vimeo.

[Audio in left channel only]

"Here's a demo of the Random Looping Sequencer DIY module I built. It's added a lot of life to my setup and is excellent for live performance with some control over the randomness...

This patch features the RLS' seq out multed to uscale in and envelator gate in. envelator out to borg 1... borg out to mixer and into camera. The sound source is the uncle & anti osc tripple wave folded and filtered with the z2040 and ems synthi filter clone.

The Random Sequencer is a circuit that produces random control voltages. These can be completely random, or they can be locked into loops that repeat every 8, 16 or 32 steps. It was inspired by the long history of shift register pseudorandom synth circuits, including the Triadex Muse, Buchla 266 Source of Uncertainly, Ken Stone’s gated comparator and Grant Richter’s Noisering. This circuit includes a transistor noise generator, so should create true random binary sequences. However, the structure of the sequencer and the nature of the digital-to-analog converter used seem to give a particular character - tones that rise and fall in a particular way.

Hohner Multimonica for Sale

"For your consideration is a vintage Hohner Multimonica. The Hohner Multimonica was the first mass produced electronic analog synthesizer. This Multimonica dates from the late 1940's to early 1950's. The instrument features a loudspeaker, tube-generated electromechanical vibrato, 6 preset synth sounds, 2 switches for harmonic filtering, and 3 switches for the vibrato speed and amplitude. The upper keyboard is an electronic monophonic sawtooth generator and the lower keyboard is a wind-blow reed harmonium.

This Multimonica is in very good functional and cosmetic condition. Don't miss this chance to get an extremely rare instrument at a bargain price!"

You can hear what one sounds like in this video.

Mantle Sound Core featuring Anastasia Gera - About Me

"This work started with the simple idea of using a type written poem and then composing music to it. Over a couple of days more images and sounds were added, each inspiring the other until the piece felt complete. Surrealistic visions, poetic interludes, analog synthesizers and video, boomboxes and scrambled mind effects are all at the heart of this piece. The song is 100% analog, with all the synths and drums recorded using TR808, TR606, live sequencing the four SH101s. Visual colors and processed effects were done with an LZX visionary.

Don't follow. Not afraid. Future experiment.
To wake you. To remember. You are alive.

Experience.
