"Corsynth C103 Frequency Divider / Multiplier - Basic Demo

The C103 Frequency Multiplier / Divider includes two frequency dividers and two frequency multipliers, that generates four new signals which frequencies are one / two octaves higher / lower than the original signal.

The module includes a built-in three channel mixer with to inputs per channel. The first channel makes possible to the user to select between the original signal from the divider and from the multiplier. In the second channel the user can choose between the signal divided or multiplied by two. In the third channel the options are, the signal divided or multiplied by four. With this set-up up to eight different mixer options are possible which creates a wide range of sonic possibilities.

JP VIDEO: the LightWave ensemble live

Uploaded by stockhausen on Apr 26, 2010

This sad news in via Atomic Shadow who was a friend of Joseph Provede.

"I just found out that my friend Joseph Provede has passed away. Joe was a unique individual and long time electronic music maker. This video (link below) is from 1982. Joe is the one on the left with the Arp Odessey. He was the keyboard player in Jayne County's band for many years."

You can read more about Joseph Provede at http://www.sinatraundead.com/jpbio.htm

Video description via YouTube:
"The LightWave ensemble recorded live on WTC-TV 1982 at William Paterson College Wayne, NJ.

Originally this was 30 minutes long but, I had to edit it down to 10 minutes to fufill YouTube's time limitations.

Also, Sorry for the crappy quality as it was recorded on 3/4" UMatic Vdeo tape then transferred to VHS...

"This is a great opportunity to get hold of a unique, rare and classic British Synth.
Cosmetically very clean, this superb synth is Version M2 (MIDI) with sounds that will inspire musicians, synth freaks and sound designers alike!
The synth has recently been beautifully overhauled by James Walker at Synth Repair Services with the replacement of various components including:

1 New OSCar Midi OS EPROM Ver OM2a
1 New Back up Battery
1 New Mains Plug
28 New Pots
1 New Power Supply Parts( regulators and Capacitors)
1 New 40 Way DIL Socket
1 New 40 Way Component Header
1 New 24 Way Component Header
1 New 24 Way DIL Socket
2 New Knob Caps

A fairly comprehensive overhaul I'm sure you'll agree, giving the synth as pretty 'clean a bill of health' as is possible, (receipt available on request). All it needs now is a good home!"

Steiner Parker Analog Synthesizer Module

"This auction is for an incredible rare vintage (1970's) Steiner Parker Analog Synthesizer Module in good condition. I believe these were used in guitar synthesis back in the 70s, but they could be used for any modular synthesizer purpose. They have 1/8" mini jacks, like ARP or DOEPFER synths but easy to adapt to 1/4" etc. Simple but powerful features. Oscillator, Filter, Envelope Gen, LFO included. There is a 6-way Cinch Jones jack on it - but I do not know why, as we have no manual for this. It has not been tested. It also has an AC cord, two prong plug, attached..."

TRAX RetroWave MIDI-Controlled Analogue Synthesizer, Monophonic Synth

Published on Oct 1, 2012 by traxcontrols

"The TRAX RetroWave desktop monosynth was designed for musicians who want the warmth and raw power of classic analogue sound, created by a real analogue instrument, as opposed to a digital system or computer emulation. This compact unit is great for use in studios, with your home computer programs, in live performances, and for creating sound effects for film, TV and theatre.

In this video, you will hear just a small selection of the sounds the unit is capable of - many others are available, and some no doubt have yet to be discovered!

Two triangle and square Low Frequency Oscillators with waveshape controls

Built-in MIDI to CV unit, with 5V gate and velocity output, 1V/octave CV response

Built-in overdrive circuit for epic distortion effects

No menus, no software, just switch on and play

Tecbug DS7 CoronKicks (loops)

"Some kickdrum variations with Tecbug Coron DS7 clone + Elektron Machinedrum + Mutable Instuments Shruthi-1"

Punchy bass drum at :25 is the Machinedrum. The Coron is making the deeper wobbly bass drum sounds.
