Hex Inverter SeqSquared Pattern Generator and ARP sequencer_demo 1
Published on Oct 2, 2012 by DJjondent
"The Hex Inverter SeqSquared Patern Generator on the left allows the combination of multiple sequencers. This demo uses just one ARP sequencer but its patterns are split into two 8 step patterns. Sounds are from the HardMod Ribbon Synth.
Thanks to Matt from RhythmActive for the Ribbon Synth & SeqSquared modules"

Forbidden Planet - Whole Soundtrack Album
Published on Jun 27, 2012 by DaMuzakian
This one in via Connor 'Macleod' Eck on The MATRIXSYNTH Lounge
You can read about the significance of this track and the composer Bebe Barron in this post. Note the film was released in 1956 before the existence of Moog and Buchla modular systems. The first Moog system to be shown was in 1964 and the first Buchla in 1963.
YouTube description:
"Also include scans from the soundtrack album and from the booklets of the "Forbidden Planets" compilations.

Envelop Detected Waterphone from todd barton on Vimeo.
"a simple exploration using a contact mic on one of Richard Water's Waterphones, a Buchla 207r's preamp and a CBS 130 Envelop Detector -- all was sent to various CV ins of a 258v oscillator and a 266r Source of Uncertainty. Oh yeah, and the final output going through a Eventide Space reverb. more on waterphones here: http://www.waterphone.com/ and a better audio of a similar exploration here: http://soundcloud.com/user7621213/envelop-detected-waterphone

"Bought from ThinkGeek. Clean and works wonderfully, from non pet, non smoking home. Each corner of the silicon mouth has tiny crack that developed, but they are not spreading. See pic for close-up."

" The luna_NT is the Noise Toaster circuit design by the genius of Ray Wilson & Music from Outer Space (MFOS). I have redesigned the circuit board to be built on Vero. The box has all of the features to make nearly any electronic noise imaginable including a voltage controlled oscillator, VC low pass filter, AR envelope generator and more. It is self contained using one 9V battery and an on-board 0.5W speaker (it also has an output for connection to an amplifier). I sell the complete build (circuit board, panel and RED or BLACK case). If you're interested in building it yourself, you can get a great kit from MFOS. Google search 'Noise Toaster' for more info and demos."
