"STYLOPHONE 350S

The huge older brother to the small stylophones of the late 60's early 70's, this is a rare and amazing sounding synthesizer.

One rare & amazing sounding synthesizer, with multi-effects & two-stylus operation. This is the huge high-end older brother to the tiny Stylophone organs of the 60's & 70's. Bizarre sci-fi synth tones & effects, with a photo-sensor vibrato way ahead of its time. In great working condition, well-maintained & ready to play. This awesome rarity is a great addition to anyone's collection.

This is Dubreq's professional version of their original Stylophone. The 350S is much larger, to be played on a table or rack rather than hand-held like the Stylophone. It has two styli, a 3.5 octave keybed, many effects & functions, plus a larger speaker. Only a few thousand of these were sold & they're quite collectible now.

Dubreq Ltd estimates all Stylophone 350S's in operable condition worldwide to be about 200-300. This is rare for any musical instrument. This unit is fully functional, and it sounds just weird, out of this world, a musical time warp.

FEATURES:
Controls: Volume, Photo-Control Vibrato/Waa Waa, 2 waveforms, Decay, Reiteration, 2 styli, 3.5 Octave Keybed, Speaker

Tones: Woodwind, Brass, Strings & combined&, Pitch Tune Control External Jacks: Input, Pedal, Output to Speaker

Battery power: uses 2 x PP9 Batteries (which are INCLUDED)

CONDITION: Barely used, clean, works 100%. Working great."

"The secrets of subtractive synthesis "The 4 Element Synth"

Rob Papen is a globally renowned sound designer whose sounds and virtual synthesizers are used and loved by many synthesizer players and music producers.

This 200+ page book, which is accompanied by four DVDs with over 10 hours of content, gives an in-depth insight into his approach of working with subtractive synthesis.

In 2001, Rob Papen began giving exclusive masterclasses teaching 'synthesizer sound design" in his studio. For these training sessions, Rob developed his own method to explain the secrets of subtractive synthesis, called "The 4 Element Synth".

This masterclass training is now transformed into a combined book and DVD package that also delivers numerous 'tips and tricks' which will help you to design and tweak your own sounds. Throughout the masterclass, a variety of hardware and software synthesizers are explored.

We are sure this synthesizer sound design training is an eye-opener for every synthesizer player, from novice to pro. A must have for everyone who takes his sounds seriously!"

MacBeth tape delay synthesizer demo 1

Published on Oct 28, 2012 by macbethsynthesizers

"Seen here- A Micromac- D Analogue Synthesizer being played via a MacBeth Touch Capacitataive Keyboard and being fed into something that I just knocked up! This is what I call a 'Tape Delay Synthesizer'!....it's lo fi- mildly grungy- but mesmorizing to work with! Still to be refined- but I hear the potentiontial- it's 'breaky wakey' at moments- but it seems to work well- this shall be partnered into my complimentary synth to the micromac. It's a twin delay device- stereo in other words- but here we have delay 1 being fed into delay 2- so it's mono.....but mad!"
