Meytal Cohen & Tammy Scheffer Feat. Jordan Rudess - Moves Like Jagger

Published on Jan 4, 2013 Israeli Music in English·60 videos

"Great cover of Maroon 5's hit by 3 talented israeli musicians and Dream Theater's keyboardist Jordan Rudess.

Jordan Rudess (Dream Theater) - iPads
Meytal Cohen - Drums
Tammy Scheffer - Vocals
Arranged, Produced and Edited by Eyal Amir

Pay special attention to Meytal Cohen.

drummagazine.com :

Israeli women don't usually come to mind when thinking of awesome metal drummers but Meytal Cohen could mop the floor with most of the aggro dudes in her current base of Los Angeles. Her series of YouTube drum covers is a total disconnect — here's this smiling adorable girl in a sun dress and bare feet nailing every note to classic tunes from Pantera, Rush, and Tool with total accuracy and great feeling. Born and raised in Ramat-Gan, Israel, Cohen studied theater in her native country before switching to drums at the relatively late age of 18. After serving a mandatory two years in the Israeli military, Meytal moved to the States and enrolled in the Los Angeles Music Academy. She has received personal instruction from Joe Porcaro, Ralph Humphrey, and others, in drums as well as percussion.
