"This Korg Mono/Poly is in absolutely amazing shape electronically and physically. It has been serviced and everything functions exactly as it should.

The synth has been fully calibrated (tuning, filters, all oscillator offsets...) and the key action has been set for optimum playing and fast triggering. The brushings feel brand new and there are absolutely no sticky or misfiring keys! The power supply was completely recapped and has new regulators, the heating PCB that regulates tuning has also been fully recapped and new transistors were put in to ensure that the tuning is far more reliable than on MonoPolys that haven't had the upgrades.


The synth functions and plays absolutely beautifully and has the renowned SSM oscillators and filters that harken to the Rev 2 Prophet 5!

In addition to the upgrades for power and tuning, this MonoPoly has a modification that allows for voltage control over the VCA. This is very handy as it allows the user to send velocity information via a MIDI to CV converter to the VCA thus giving velocity control over amplitude!

As you can tell from the photographs the MonoPoly is in excellent condition. The metal work looks is scratch free and looks incredible for a synth this old. It has a beautiful shine and has been immaculately well maintained. The wood side panels have some scratches going on but that is normal for a synth this old and it is something that can easily be fixed by a cabinet maker..."

"THis is a hand built noise machine built by [drmoonstien]. it comes with an optical theremin controller that connects via 1/4 inch standard audio cable. it also has line in for audio input. So this machine has clean volume , scuzz volume and synth volume. vco main pitch toggle on off and potentiometer for adjusting pitch.and 2 different lfo's with on off toggle and potentiometer. then there are 5 octave dividers for further modulation. the line in is effected by the scuzz side witch has toggle on off and 5 octave dividers of its own you can blend the octave scuzz effects in with the clean audio or just use the effected sound there is no bypass just on and off. when an instrument is not plugged in you can effect the synth sounds with the octaves of the scuzz. the optical theremin can be connected to control the pitch of the vco the theremin has its own toggle on off switch so you can easy switch between controls. the optical theremin reacts to light so the more light that hits the sensor the higher the pitch the less light .like if you cover it the lower the pitch. you can play buy waving your hand or using a flash light or laser pointer any kind of light. runs on 9vdc -tip power supply boss or one spot will work fine.(((POWER SUPPLY AND CABLES NOT INCLUDED ))) all ins and outs are 1/4 inch standard..."

A simple sequence featuring the Division 6 eurorack format SQ816 sequencer by Mattson Mini Modular & Division 6. Two MMM VCOs & one Subconscious Communications Model 37 Voltage Controlled LFO / Utility Oscillator used as an oscillator for the high pitched sequence. A Juno-106 being driven by the SQ816 MIDI out comes in for that bonky wooden sound. Drums are provided by Tiptop Audio BD8008, SD808, and HATS808 modules. Reverb & Phaser provided by TC Electronic M300. You'll see me change the sequence to reverse followed by ping pong. I then apply an MMM LFO to the CV in which modulates everything being driven by the CV sequence. Note the Juno-106 is not affected over MIDI, which is nice in my opinion. It allows me to only apply modulation to certain aspects of the sequence. I then adjust the sequence rate for the grand finale. Enjoy, or not...

"a replacement knob for my mattson mini modular. since my machine prints in only one color, i am experimenting with different ways to keep the "M" white but the rest of the knob black. Here, i masked the M with tape and sprayed the rest black, to somewhat mediocre results. probably the next thing i will try is spraying the whole thing black and then painting the M white again...?

also, it's hard to see from the top view, but the new makerbot firmware just recently released (v. 7) somehow magically makes the high quality setting (10 microns) EASY to use, nearly obviating the need for sanding... with the previous firmware, printing at this level would often result in failed prints..."
