I'm switching the Rocket between chord and mono modes over MIDI. To play chords, set the oscillator wave to sawtooth (CC #31 = 0), and the osc tune&shape knobs to max (CC #70 & #79 = 127). I'm also setting the mod wheel for some chord vibrato."

via the listing: "All the keys and membrane buttons work. This auction includes a RC-2 sound cartridge. I have loaded the German sound banks onto the cartridge and the K3 will be loaded with the original factory presets. I opened the synth up so that you can see that this is an extremely clean K3. This is my 3rd time owning one of these and this is by far the cleanest example I have ever seen. The internal battery works perfectly, there is no dust or damage on the inside, looks like it was built recently. The outside has a few bumps, there is a slight bend in the chassis on the back left from the original owner trying to open the lid (he forgot to unscrew the two main screws on the back side and it caused it to bend slightly). But this does not affect functionality, you can still plug in instrument cables and MIDI cables without any trouble..."

Roland SH-1000 Vintage Analog Synthesizer

"Cosmetically, this SH-1000 is in EXC-/VG+++ condition, with all slider caps, sliders, knobs, buttons, jacks and tabs present. The wood panels (yes, solid wood!) are completely intact with virtually no scratches and no dings. This synthesizer has been well taken care of, and it shows.

Everything works as it is supposed to with the following exception: three of the ten "Preset" tabs ("trumpet", "saxophone" and "clarinet," marked in the photos with blue tape) do not produce any sound. These "presets" are simply pre-defined settings for the waveform, timbre, filter and other control settings, all of which do work. Excellent sound-shaping controls, including LFO, filter, ADSR envelope, vibrato, tremolo, "waw" and "growl."

This SH-1000 has undergone recent thorough servicing, with all caps replaced (30+) and the VCO rebuilt. It now sounds amazing and should provide years of problem-free service..."
