Yamaha DX-21, RX-11, & FB-01 Demo
Published on Aug 27, 2013 anode8·46 videos
"Here is a tune I made entirely of sounds from the Yamaha DX-21, RX-11, and FB-01 machines, with a classic detroit techno vibe. To keep with the period sound, I used a Realistic Reverb unit as well as a Shure EQ from the early 80's. Sounds used include:
DX-21:
FM Square
5th String
custom Organ
custom string/pad
pink noise
RX-11 drum sounds
FB-01:
Electric Drum (sub kick)
Solid Bass (aka Lately Bass)"

Laurentide SynthWorks #2
Published on Aug 27, 2013 Laurentide SynthWorks·40 videos
"Little jam with the following:
Music From Outerspace Soundlab Minisynth MKII
Sonic-Potions LXR Drum Synth
Hex Inverter Sympleseq Module (MU)
Roland Juno-106
Minimoog Voyager Old School"
via Laurentide SynthWorks
"Oddly enough, the Sonic-Potions LXR is the first hardware drum synth I've owned. I've got a bunch of stuff on the computer, but that kind of music creation has always been creatively constricting for me.
Anyway, I recorded a new demo with some devices we build (MFOS Soundlab MKII, Hex Inverter Sympleseq & Sonic-Potions LXR). It's accompanied with a Minimoog Voyager OS and a Juno-106. The LXR is generating the clock which is being sent to a Kenton Pro-Solo II MIDI 2 CV, which is then sending the clock to the Sympleseq.
Enjoy and thanks for watching!"
Review: Arturia MiniBrute analog synthesizer
Published on Aug 27, 2013 SoundsAndGear·518 videos
"Finally checking out the awesome little analog synthesizer from Arturia called the MiniBrute. This is a fully analog synthesizer with a Steiner-Parker filter, CV in/out, MIDI, and USB, all in a nice 25 key aluminium case.

Testing out the Strymon Timeline
Published on Aug 27, 2013 sbookholt·22 videos
"I just picked up a Strymon Timeline. I've made a little jam switching thru the different settings and params of the timeline. I think it's an incredible delay! In this jam I use an octatrack as master. It plays the drums and sequences the vermona mono lancet. The dsi tempest runs it's own sequence, heavily processed by the timeline."

"The module still needs some work, but I couldn`t help testing out how all the drums sound together. These are the NeinOhNein Kick, NeinOhNein Snare, NeinOhNein Clap and AteOhAte Mutant Hi-Hat projects from hexinverter.net."
