Dave Smith Instruments (DSI) Evolver PolyEvolver -- Pure Sound

"DSI Evolver Keyboard -- Pure Sound
It is an analogue synth, 2 (analoge) DCOs, 2 digital oscillators, anlogue VCF, 3 digital evelopes, 4 digital LFOs, 4 x 16-step-sequencer, 3 digital delays.Although the analogue signal is converted to digital and reconverted to analogue again it sounds pretty convincing and, comparing it to nowadays simulants, warm and anlogue. But it is far away from beeing a Minimoog,Multimoog (s. my video), ARP2600, Oberheim SEM, Moog Voyager."
Waldorf Microwave (1/Rev.1) w CEM 3389 & Live Tweaking w Access Controller
Uploaded on Oct 20, 2011 LESINDES·94 videos
"The original first version of fabulous Microwave with Rev. 1: The better, the fatter, the meatier one. All tracks have passed the tube circuits of Thermionic Culture Vulture and were recorder directly to dic WITHOUT any additional FX.
It was mixed digitally and in order to regain the former peak levels for the score was used a limiter. This is it. So the sounds might sound a little crude and rough but already worthwhile. What might they sound like after careful FX treatment???
Part of its mighty sound are the analogue Curtis filters. This final analogue section is the reason for the BIG sound GAP between the MICROWAVE and the fully digital MICROWAVE II which is really a laugh.
BTW: I never liked the Red Knob!"
Waldorf Microwave 1 Rev 1 OS 2 -- live tweaking w Access Controller
Published on Jan 25, 2013
"This is a demo that shows how sensisively and deeply you can influence the parameters of the Waldorf Microwave with the RARE ACCESS controller. Mostly you cannot hear that the parameters are not continuous but stepped -- only in volume (resolution only 7 steps) and in octaves/semitones naturally it is clearly audible.
This is not a genious peformance but I wantetd to keep it in its original shape so that you can for yourself how quick the changes are made and how fluent the result is -- Starting with a mallet going over kick drums and very deep bass sound through a vast space odyssey ending in mallets and pads.
That is done with a single sound program, no layer, multimode!!!"

Combining mini-keys, battery power, a simple-to-use interface, and phenomenal sound, all at an attractive price, microKORG made the synthesizer available to every musician. Bass players, singers, guitarists, producers, DJs, horn players, all flocked to add the professional sounds of the microKORG synthesizer to their instrument arsenal.
One of the top-selling synthesizers in the world every year since its release, microKORG remains the champion of Korg’s successful microSERIES: the microKORG XL, microSAMPLER, microPIANO, microSTATION, and microARRANGER.

3 Delay Modes plus a 2-Band EQ

With the microKORG analog modeling synthesizer, hardware matters. The built-in vocoder and selectable-step arpeggiator add a new dimension to performing and recording without the need to master new technologies. External sounds can be processed by the microKORG’s filter and more. With dedicated knobs and an index to the sound-editing parameters available on the front panel, microKORG allows each player to go as deep into the sound engine as desired. But for many musicians, just choosing the sounds from the convenient categories provides instant satisfaction."

Korg Announces the KR mini Rhythm Machine
"MELVILLE, NY, September 5, 2013 - Korg announces the KR mini rhythm machine. Designed for guitarists, bassists, pianists or any musician looking for easy rhythm accompaniment, it features nostalgic looks and a simple design focused on easy, push-button control. The KR mini is also lightweight, can run on batteries and has a built-in speaker, allowing it to provide a backing rhythm pattern anywhere at any time.
Playing a rhythm pattern is easy and intuitive, with all controls on the surface. A total of 60 diverse rhythm patterns are available to accompany any practice session or performance. A wide range of genres is included, such as 8-beat, 16-beat, rock and pop, with six patterns for each genre. Alternatively, users can tap in their own beats via a simple record function. There are also eight song patterns containing drum parts that are several measures in length. In addition, a chain function allows the ability to arrange favorite rhythm patterns and fill-ins to create complete songs.
An optional pedal switch allows the user's foot to perform functions such as start/stop and for triggering fill-ins, providing smooth control over the KR mini in a performance environment. For added power, the KR mini contains a headphone/speaker output, so it can be connected to a PA system or used with a guitar amp to create a simple setup for live performances.
The KR mini will be available in November 2013 for a US street price of $79.99.
Additional product information is available at Korg.com"
