"Holy Ghost! is a synth-pop duo from Brooklyn, NY, formed by Alex Frankel and Nick Millhiser of the now-defunct group Automato. Presently they are backed by a full live band for their tours. They are currently signed to DFA and have two full length albums, an EP, and several 12" singles. Their second album Dynamics was released on September 9 2013. They had previously released a self-titled album, Holy Ghost!, on April 1 2011. Read more about Holy Ghost! on Last.fm."

Teisco 110f & 60f Demos
Teisco 110f Demo Published on May 5, 2012 Lackan110f·3 videos
Teisco helicopter.
"A demo tune just using the Teisco 110f multitracked. No extra FX used, only a final compression and EQ to the mix.
The Teisco is especially great for fat basses and nice leads, but can also produce some weird ring modulated sounds. A very versatile synth."
Teisco110f Sound Demo
"A sound demo just tweaking the Teisco 110f. No extra FX used, recorded straight from the synth.
The Teisco is especially great for fat basses and nice leads, but can also produce some weird ring modulated sounds. A very versatile synth.
I have tried to cover most of the features, but I am sure I have missed out some things. But this will at least cover the basics I think."
Teisco 60f
Published on Jun 1, 2013
"A demo of the Teisco Synthesizer 60f. No extra FX used. Some pots are a bit crackly and the Youtube sound compression is a bit hard at times. Sorry for this.
But I think you will get a general idea of what this marvelous little synth is capable of. The main feature is undisputibly the lush low pass filter, that thanks to a design similar to the Moog technique doesn't loose tone when resonance is up high."

4ms QCD (Quad Clock Distributor) Sneak Preview 2
Published on Sep 18, 2013 4mspedals·77 videos
"The Quad Clock Distributor (QCD) and the QCD Expander modules from 4ms Company are an amazing pair of complex rhythm generating machines. The QCD is the perfect master clock, with a tap-tempo button and four CV-controlled Divided/Multiplied clock outputs. All the beat patterns you hear are coming from this module (plus other 4ms gear such as the RCD, SCM, and PEG), using various QCD channels to modulate themselves.
Swing/shuffle patterns are easily obtained by modulating the pulse width of the inverted gate output. The speed-up/slow-down patterns come from modulating the clock divider/multiplication amount (with an LFO and/or another synced clock). Finally, hitting Reset at various times causes phase modulation.
For more information on the Quad Clock Distributer, see http://4mscompany.com"

LYRICON ll COMPUTONE 2 ANALOG SYNTHESIZER

Pics of the inside below.
"This unit is essentially a two-oscillator analog synthesizer interfaced to a clarinet-like controller, as opposed to the usual keyboard. It also has outputs to connect to additional analog synths. The keys of the controller are "wired" to electrical contacts and it has breath control and reed pressure sensors.
The electronics of the synthesizer on this unit are 100% functional and have been serviced by an experienced synthesizer tech. Needed are repairs to the power supply section, and a good cleaning. NOTE: The controller needs cleaning and servicing as well and has problems with the breath control and reed pressure sensors. The keys all work fine. Service is still available for these problems from Bill Bernardi, the original designer and builder of the Lyricon - here is a link to information on contacting him."

Future Sound Systems FIL2 Spectral Devastator Dual VCF

"A unique and versatile pair of filters that compliment each other quite well!
The Spectral Devastator features a brand new filter core, designed by FSS through finding ways to implement voltage control for a resonant active filter. The method of CV involves passing the audio input through the CV stage, but whilst the CV implementation is non-linear, distortion and waveshaping of the audio occurs, particularly with high resonance. This circuitry also results in a filter that self oscillates not sinusoidally, but with a sawtooth-like waveform.
Two filter sections (highpass and lowpass) can be normalled together to create serial or parallel processing of the same input, whilst the highpass' cut-off control is normalled to the secondary CV input of the lowpass filter via a variable attenuator.
At low resonances, the filter gently rolls off frequencies above the cut-off point. Tweak the resonance past 12 o'clock and the filter begins to growl. Crank it up to 10 and you've got a filter that adds harmonics to your original input, based upon that input's harmonic content. Unplug the input and use the two filter sections as VCOs. Plug audio into the CV inputs and create swarms of noise. Use the highpass section as a VCO and the lowpass section to filter its output, giving you the core of any acid bassline you could ever want.
Features
Highpass and Lowpass filter sections
Cutoff knob per filter
Resonance knob per filter
CV2 Depth knob per filter
Normalling switches for choosing signal path order
2 cutoff frequency CV inputs
Input and Output per filter"
