"This unit is in most excellent condition all around. It has the latest OS 2.09 ROMs, which fixed a lot of bugs from the earlier OS versions.
Also, it is a rare unit to find in that it has the XRom Expansion, which allows you to load your own samples into the 8-bit sample ROM.
To be clear, it does not allow you to directly sample on the machine, but does allow you to put whatever samples you choose into the unit via a Sysex transfer.

It's not an easy mod to do, and to do it right. It really adds another dimension to the machine. With the very flexible sequencer, you could actually switch to a different sample being played on each step.
I am sure you know that the unit does a great job at emulating TR-909 sounds and goes beyond that as the sequencer and on-board LFOs allow for some very unique programming and sound shaping in realtime.

Consider this one rated R little kiddies. Slasher bits at 1:26 on. No minors!!! If you don't like violence I recommend skipping although it is of the campy-blood-unrealistically-spraying-everywhere sort of violence.
Don't miss Crispin Glover with some nice platform shoes & a cat water skiing in the beginning.
