"Finally set aside the time to integrate the Toolbox Synth with drum pads, something I specifically designed this synth to do, at the Tool man cave In Hollywood and Danny Carey tries it out for the first time before their rehearsal begins - October 5, 2013.
A recently acquired Roland drum pad synth is used as a midi controller in this instance via a Doepfer 190-B Midi to CV converter, utilizing gate out to trigger a Plan B Model 10, 1v/octave voltage out to control three Plan B Model 15 VCOs and the aftertouch to provide a secondary amplitude VC in a Plan B Model 25 (VCA section) to provide dynamic response to the pressure applied to the pads, which is offset via a Plan B Model 14 Voltage Processor. Enjoy, or not!"

AniModule Controlling Metasonix

"Just testing this Custom Triple VCO Synth Module. My Metasonix D-1000 & R55 both need external Oscillators to play IN TUNE.
Having to use 2 or 3 of my VCOs for this task was getting to be a burden.
I WANT MY VCOs FOR OTHER SOUNDS IN MY PATCHES!!
So the search for 3 Euro VCO modules to dedicate to this task started about 2 months ago.
Most on the market are expensive & 3 will take up valued SPACE!
JRock was nice enough to work with me,,,,,
Here we have 3 very basic AniModule VCOs at 10hp!!!"

Volca Beats controlled by VCO

"Output of VCO connected to 'sync in' of Korg Volca Beats. The VCO is controlled by a nonlinearcircuits CA sequencer so output varies but the sync in signal ranges from approx 90 000 to 600bpm. At higher speeds the Volca craps out and stops until the signal slows down. Once again it is not pretty, but it is fun to explore the boundaries of this device."

"A first experiment with MakeNoise Maths and the 5U modular synth.
Patch is basically;
West Coast Random Source (Sputnik) fluctuating random voltages to Maths input 4.
Slewed S&H of the same into the Maths input 1.
Stored random voltages to the Maths input 2.
STG Voltage Mini Store through Q171 quantizer into Maths input 3.
Maths 4 out into channel 1 Both.
Maths 1 out into channel 4 Both.
Maths Sum out into quantizer then Q106 VCO 1v/oct.
Maths EOR to ADSR for filter and vca.
VCO waveforms to Manhattan Analog cp3 mixer.
Mixer to STG Soundlabs Sea Devils filter.
Filter to Strymon Blue Sky then VCA.
Post mix includes Lexicon digital delays and TCE D-Two delay.
Three tracks in Cubase with adjustments to the Maths and octaves of the Q106 VCO."

Circuit Slices Eurorack Synthesizer ADSR Envelope Generator
Note: links to listings are affiliate links for which the site may be compensated.
via this auction
This is the first Circuit Slices post. The seller also has a power bus listed here. Details for that captured further below.
"Pre-production units from a company making synthesizer modules in the Eurorack format. This is a new, 4-stage, ADSR module, sold before going to market, with a starting bid well below the retail price (typical prices for other ADSR modules are $75 to $90, or even more). It includes a re-trigger input for multiple triggers -- while the gate input is high. If you don't have a keyboard or MIDI-CV with a trigger output, you can use the ADSR TRIG input for synchronous attacks and modulation effects, triggered by a master clock signal. Envelope generators with trigger inputs, were typical in some older analog synthesizers, such as ARP and EMU.
Specifications
Attack time: 1mS to over 5s
Decay time: 1mS to over 12s
Sustain level: 0 to 10V
Release time: 1mS to over 12s
Output level: 0 to 10V
Gate threshold: 2.5V
Power: +12VDC @ 3mA, -12DC @ 2mA
Panel width: 7 HP (35.24 mm)
"Skiff friendly" Depth: Only 1.4" with power cable (single PCB using SMT parts)
Features
“TRIG” input for re-triggered attacks
Logarithmic potentiometers for A, D, R
High-quality anodized aluminum panel
User selectable 'gate' from power-bus -- using PCB shorting jumper
Low power consumption
Includes power cable and two case screws"
"This is a power bus for a DIY Eurorack synthesizer case. The board has 14 power connectors for standard Eurorack synthesizer modules. All of the 14, high-quality (AMP), connectors are shrouded and keyed so that each module's power is applied correctly (see detail photo). Includes a 5V regulator (7805) for those modules requiring logic power. External power is applied at three "quick-connect" tabs or at a mini terminal strip. Three green LEDs show status of +12V, -12V and +5V. PCB size: 14" x 1.25" Requires an external +/- 12DC supply (+5VDC derived on board)."
