"Synthcart is a cartridge for Atari 2600 game console that turns it into a basic synthesizer with an argeggiator and built-in rhythm patterns. The controls are designed so that it is possible to use without a TV, allowing it to function as a stand-alone synthesizer. Synthcart requires a set of Atari keyboard controllers. AUDIO DEMOS: audio1 audio2 audio3 VIDEO CLIP: light_show_mode.mpg FEATURES: - Play using an assortment of familiar Atari sounds - Use two different sound types at a time, one assigned to each controller - 8th, 16th, and 32nd note arpeggiator - Beat Box with many pre-programmed beats and fills - Play two beats simultaneously to create custom beats - Two tremelo settings - Four attack/release settings - User interface designed so that a TV is not required (see FAQ below) - Easter egg: light show mode that displays color patterns based on sound output. via the seller: "I am including 3 full sets of EPROMs with this sale. I have the stock DX EPROM set as well as the additional DMX percussion EPROMs so you can choose which you prefer. I am also including both full sets of Roland TR-808 and TR-909 EPROM chips so you can use the DX as a replica of either of these classic machines. To change the sounds, you simply pull out the relative chip and replace it with the desired sound. This makes the DX incredibly flexible for different styles and still gives you the sequencing and tuning features the machine has to offer."

Although Yamaha had already conquered polyphony with their legendary 8-voice CS-80, the CS-40m offered a more affordable approach to something other than a mono-synth. It has a semi-compact 44 note (3 1/2 octave) keyboard, 36 knobs, 12 sliders and over a dozen buttons for easy hands-on performance and editing. There are also 20 patches of memory which can be off-loaded to cassette tape."

"Here is a near perfect MG-1 that has no issues and works flawlessly. It has been completely de gooped/cleaned with the popular Filter in jack added by Tim at Synapse Audio/Portland Custom Shop. So it's ready to be your new tone machine. Cosmetically it's in near mint as well. 3 of the slider knobs are missing their silver top. Couple marks on the faceplate and that's it. Super clean. I'll miss her.."
