"A bit of a 'drone jam' with OP-1 as a midi controller to play the Korg Volca Bass. Samplr App on iPad for the glitched beat and strings. Bastl Instruments MicroGranny 2.1 to play sample.

(Sorry for my head getting in the way at some points - oops!)

1970's Polymoog 280A and Dynacord DRS-78 reverb

Published on Sep 19, 2014 SPFXsynthesisers

"Random doodling on a 280a connected to a Dynacord digital reverb system and connected to camera audio input (hence grainy audio quality).
Just going through the presets and controls and playing random stuff to demo the sounds.
Dynacord Reverb is a bit noisy/hissy."

Video at the auction posted here.

"This is a very unique Chip Synth

It is a SEGA Mega Drive (Genesis) modified with a built in MIDI interface (USB) and a cartridge with GENMDM.

The MIDI interface and GENMDM cart is created by Little Scale
http://little-scale.com/
http://little-scale.blogspot.no/

It is an incredible FM synthesizer engine for the YAMAHA YM2612 FM and TI SN76489 chips inside the SEGA
Through the interface and cart, you get access to 6 FM , 3 square wave and 1 noise channels.
He has made several Max 4 Live patches, that makes it very easy to use with Ableton Live, but also standalone apps to use with other DAW's

The SEGA itself is a Mega Drive 1, with VA3 motherboard and discrete chips.
It's a PAL version, and No TMSS.
Most experts will agree that this is the SEGA with the best sound.

In addition to the MIDI interface, the SEGA has been modified with:
USB
Composite Video, RCA
Stereo sound, RCA
Blue LED ;)

The listing includes:
1 SEGA Mega Drive console
1 GENMDM cartridge
1 RCA Audio/Video cable
1 Power supply

The power supply is a European 220V / 50Hz to 10V DC 1,2A
For use in UK, use a standard euro to UK adapter
For use in US, you will have to get a SEGA power supply, or any 10V DC 1,2A power supply."
