ZOe vs 223e
Published on Oct 16, 2014 BuchlaBum
"ZOe is the main voice with a droning 261e. Pads control ZOe square wave output pulse width, 261e timbre, location, wet/dry, and envelope decays. Still getting used to the 223e. It's much more sensative than I thought it would be (eg. the flubs I have while performing here)."
Two modular 8-step sequencers to form one 16-step (MU system)

"Hexinverter.net's Symple SEQ module is a handy 1U wide mini sequencer, but I feel limited by 8-steps at times so I thought for my portable modular cabinet (my "modbox" as I call it), I'd combine two of them via the Club of the Knobs C 962C Sequential Switch."
A Patch From Scratch #04: Let's build a Drone #TTNM
Published on Oct 16, 2014 The Tuesday Night Machines
"In this episode I try to improvise a drone sound, using various forms of CV modulation.
A drone or droning sound is usually a continuous "dull" sound. But it doesn't have to be! Let's make it a continuous sound, which is a little more busy, which is great for anything from synth noise to pop music I'd say.

THE HARVESTMAN IRON CURTAIN ELECTRONICS SYSTEM (POLIVOKS MODULAR SYSTEM) NOW AVAILABLE

Brief audio demo posted here.

The Iron Curtain Electronics system is a modular instrument based on the legendary POLIVOKS synthesizer, created in cooperation with the original instrument designer Vladimir Kuzmin. The Polivoks was the first voltage-controlled synthesizer from the Soviet Union, first manufactured in a military radio factory in 1982 from a special selection of components. It later became notorious in the West for its aggressive sonic character. All modules and system components are compliant with the Eurorack format.

The Harvestman has added specialized mixer, multiple, and slew limiter modules for patching these classic circuits into this new modular environment. The Iron Curtain modules have a redesigned user interface towards this goal, with extended controls not available on the original keyboard instrument such as individually patchable outputs, advanced envelope controls, and a plethora of attenuverted control voltage inputs. Packaged in a durable, portable desktop cabinet by Monorocket, the modules sit at a pleasant angle to the performer, with a large flat area on the top of the case for additional modular cabinets or other electronic instruments to be stacked above.
More Iron Curtain Electronics modules will be released in 2015, continuing the work of Vladimir Kuzmin with selections from his vast instrument design portfolio.

"This video is about ARP 2600 several different settings and different functions within the ARP 2600 sound spectrum"
via this auction
"The ARP 2600 is a semi-modular analog subtractive audio synthesizer, designed by Alan R. Pearlman with Dennis Colin, and manufactured by his company, ARP Instruments, Inc. as the follow-on version of the. Unlike other modular systems of the time, which required modules to be purchased individually and wired by the user, the 2600 was semi-modular with a fixed selection of basic synthesizer components internally pre-wired. The 2600 was thus ideal for musicians new to synthesis, due to its ability to be operated either with or without patch cords, and was, upon its initial release, heavily marketed to high schools, universities, and other educational facilities
2601 v3.0: Late in 1980, a final revision was released with un-potted submodules, making them easier to maintain, and a revised suitcase. However these late models are quite rare as their release coincided with ARP's final days."
