"All sounds are coming from the Spectral, which makes lovely gong and bell sounds when fed triggers from a QCD. Other clocks are rotating it and gating individual channels (which are notes in the chords). The stereo output is fed into the Dual Looping Delay (DLD) which has its time and regen controls being modulated by more clocks and the QPLFO. The DLD provides the master clock (sample-accurate!)"

This is one of my favorite Roland fast-envelope
DCO Polyphonic Analog Synthesizers.
A true treasure to have & it sounds like a dream!
This specific unit has seen some studios, gigs & parties..
It's Chorus effect sounds like a swishy wave in some
patches. Others there is none. I ran the wrong output
so there was a minor pop in the output in some places.
Still, all that being said, these are a few of the sounds
that did something for me & I am sure you will know why...
It's that pure '80's sound with warmth, depth, power & dimension!
The strings & pads are the BEST! I love the ROLAND JX-8P!

According to Univers Sons in the comments of this post: "there're 96 modules in the line, but they intend to reach more than 100 until the end of this year."

I checked in with EMW and they confirmed.

Roland System-1: Six New Waveforms

Did you know update version 1.20 was released? And did you know this update ADDS 6 brand new waveforms to the System-1 arsenal? I myself was caught unaware, thanks for the heads up Zibbybone. And thank you so much Roland for extending patch memory in this one!

With the update 1.20 we get the waveforms Noise Saw, Logic Operation, FM, FM+Sync, Vowel (a formant wave), and a 909-style Cow Bell.

The first half of the video auditions these new waveforms with a basic patch. The second half puts these waveforms to use in patch examples. I tried to watch the volume levels, a couple may have gotten away from me...sorry!"
