"The essential battery mod (and minor repair) was done on this synth around 4 years back, other than that, no mods, no customising etc.
It now use a normal coin cell battery that is handily mounted into a holder for ease of changing.
The battery currently fitted has full voltage and should last (store patches) for many years!
Very stable tuning on this VCO synth (takes the normal approx 10 seconds for the auto tune routine after switch on then it's ready to go, never needs retuning after that - never failed me on tuning!).
The synth has been used frequently over the past 4 to 5 years in my studio (no gigging) without fault, so has been well tested since the battery mod!
Supplied With:
Built in, original Power Cable (no mods)
Original User Manual (Rare)
Functional Condition:
All keys and contacts have been cleaned and are working great (see video)
All knobs are smooth and work as intended, they are all tight and feel good to use - they are mounted to the panel with a locking nut - NOT just the PCB as on modern synths so are super reliable and solid!
All buttons work first time with a light touch, I fitted some new tact switches not that long ago so these should be reliable for many years!
Outputs and tape in/out (back up of patches) work fine - NO crackles or dead outputs
Volume knob is smooth and noise free (no crackles)
All pots respond properly and edit parameters correctly (no skipping or dead spots)
Pitch and Mod wheels working 100% (note the Pitch wheel on the Polysix is similar to the old Moog/Prophet 5 style, not spring loaded so it has a central return indent rather than auto return - this is not a fault)"

"Voltage supplied to the Doepfer A-152 track & hold input from the n2 output from the A-149-1 which has slight modulation on it.
Throughout the track the only thing I'm adjusting is the probability of notes, adjusting upwards until the end.
All reverbs and delays (apart from one track that goes via a Powertran Delay Line) are from the modular and are provided by:
