"The Analogue Synthesizer SX-150 MK2 is quite an advanced little synth. With multiple controllable parameters, line in and out and a four octave range, it’s an amazing piece of kit. The Analog Synthesizer SX-150 Mark II uses an electrode stylus to play tones, is battery powered and is a quality piece of kit.
Also this auction includes a MIDI-IF controller, this means you can plus the Gakken in and play this with a midi keyboard. This adds features of tune, modulation rate and glide to the Gakken and like the Gakkken is battery powered."
According to the QA in the listing, the MIDI-IF "was custom made by beatnic.jp in Japan, the model of this controller is a MIDI-IF for the Gakken SX-150 mk2."
You can see another model of the MIDI-IF for KORG's Monotron here.
They also made The Mountain synth. See the beatnic.jp channel label at the bottom of this post for more.

"As a record producer, I have used this keyboard in countless productions over the years, including three singles for the mega group KORN.
Cosmetically, I would almost dare say she may be in near perfect condition. The only place that I can find a small scratch or two, is on the bottom underside of the keyboard. (See pictures). All nameplates are perfectly intact without a scratch. No scratches whatsoever anywhere on the top faceplate or keys.
This Pro One is also in excellent working order and sounds and plays amazing. I guess if you wanted to get extremely picky, you may be able to find a knob or two on the front that are a bit scratchy sounding when turning them. Feel free to message me, I could even text message you a video of me playing it. Showing that all keys work and it sounds amazing.
The only reason I am selling it, is because I have not been producing much dance electronica oriented music the past few years. I am primarily producing acoustic music."
Again, more interesting bits of individual synth history. Not sure how you would confirm this though.

"This is an Oberheim OBX-a as the ad clearly states. If you're here browsing chances are you already know the specifics of this beauty so, no need to list all the stats. Needless to say, it's big, it's heavy and it's lovely!! The story on this gem is, I was gigging with some cats who wanted to do a tribute to the 80's and me being the obsessive freak that I am, I had to have this board. Besides that, I've always loved Van Halen and Rush so, it was a no brainer. I bought this one on EBay from John Leimseider (look him up) who is the curator at the National Music Centre (look it up) in Calgary, Alberta. As fate would have it the tribute to the 80's never did happen for us and so, the board has been in my studio for the last number of years. Up until a short time ago when I decided to prepare it to be sold. I shipped it back to John who has gone over it thoroughly and has assured me it's ready to rock. When it's time to ship it will be well packaged and protected. Obviously, this item has been used. Consequently, there are signs of wear. However, the wooden sides are in perfect shape as are the keys. Everything works and it is completely functional. However, I would be remiss if I didn't mention that cosmetically it does have blemishes. There are a number of visible scratches on the top and what appears to be scrapes. I would say for it's age it's a 7/10 cosmetically speaking. Thankfully, this does not affect playability. This board is all original but John is able to install midi for a fee of course. Cheers!"
Little bits of individual synth history. Of course you would have to verify it to be sure.

Vermona Mono Lancet Breakout Box Analog CV Patchbay
Note: Auction links are affiliate links for which the site may be compensated.

via this auction
"The box plugs into the Sub-D connection socket on the back of the synth and allows connections to be made to the synths parameters via control voltage. This allows interactions with other synths and soundmodules, for example the Arturia Microbrute's patchbay or a Eurorack modular synth. As well as the CV inputs and outputs the box also includes independent audio outs for the two oscillators and a dedicated noise output.
The patchbay offers many of the same functions as the official modular dock and although it omits a few (For example external audio cannot be routed through the filter with this patchbay) it does offer LFO and envelope outputs which the official modular dock does not.
The patchbay is handmade using high quality components and has been thoroughly tested. It is sold as new but does have a few light scratches on the case which occurred during construction. They are very faint and only show up in bright light.
The patchbay comes with the necessary connection cable built in.
PLEASE NOTE this is a listing for the PATCHBAY ONLY. You need to buy the Vermona Mono Lancet separately."

ARP AXXE SYNTHESIZER with Custom Wood Case
Note: Auction links are affiliate links for which the site may be compensated.
via this auction
"Vintage used Arp Axxe synthesizer from around 1980-82. Has been professionally restored to its full musical function. Keyboard is totally even and original. This unit is the little brother to the Arp Odyssey and quite rare to find in any working order. It has all its original switches and slider knobs which are color coded. The original power cord was replaced some years ago, now it has the three prong receptacle in the back which makes the cord detachable for better wear and tear. This unit has one oscillator with the conventional ADSR envelope generator. This unit is unique in its sounds that make it so attractive to people who love the 1970's-80's art-progressive rock period. At some point in its life an attractive wooden chasiy was added to its body which adds to its look and does not restrict obtaining access for internal repairs..."

Its collection of exclusive descriptions and photos, plus interviews and stories from the likes of Legowelt, Egyptian Lover, Jeff Mills, Mark Ernestus, Modeselektor, Lee Scratch Perry, Moby, Robert Hood, Mathew Jonson, make it clear that these machines can create emotional connections.
