"Best known as a founder of the experimental rock group Battles, 35-year-old composer Tyondai Braxton has since moved on to cultivate his continually evolving solo career. This profile focuses on a number of his recent projects, including an installation-style performance at the Guggenheim Museum and collaborations with The Los Angeles Philharmonic and legendary composer Philip Glass."

"This song showcases modular synths in modern music context. Almost all sounds were done using modular synths.

Mutable Instruments Braids was responsible for all eurorack oscillator duties.
Analog Solutions SY02 and Doepfer A-106-6 filters were used for all eurorack sounds.
Oakley Sound Systems 5U modular was used for non eurorack modular sounds.

Drums were done with Native Instruments Battery 4.
The polyphonic lead synth in the chorus part was done with Logic Pro X's RetroSynth.
Sequenced, recorded, edited and mixed in Logic Pro X."

"I wish i had more time for making music in general,but i must not complain,here is the multi track version of "Dream Age part 8"!
I did some noise/hum reduction,equalization and volume curving,and i used alot of synthesizers:
