"On April 22nd 2015 Matttech Modular put on a workshop at Madlab in Manchester, UK, featuring William Mathewson from WMDevices, where he kindly demonstrated his new range of modules. These were designed in collaboration with Steady State Fate's Andrew Morelli and we got to see the much-anticipated Monolith keyboard in all its glory. William also ran through some of WMDevices' classic designs - such as the Geiger Counter, Synchrodyne and PDO mk.2.

"Vintage Oberheim SEM module - not the reissue. Tested in February, then placed in climate controlled storage. As far as I can tell it is working 100%. Cosmetics are above average, a few scratches here and there and some slight discoloration on the painted case."

Thanks to a space saving old-school design, the Eurorack version of this DIY-friendly module occupies only 4hp.

The VC Divider consists of two channels, which can work separately or be linked in different ways. Each channel has one clock input and one clock output. The division factor of each channel can be selected either manually with knobs, or remotely with a voltage applied to the control inputs. The division method is a «musical» type, which means that all patterns generated by this module will be perfectly in beat if they are all reset simultaneously. Unlike Flip-flop or binary counter based dividers, SSSR Labs VC Divider keeps the duration of incoming clocks intact, so it is not only able to trigger envelope generators, but can also directly gate them, providing articulation uniformity with variable rhythmic patterns.

The VC Divider can be used in many different ways: to control a rhythmic pattern of percussive instruments with a sequencer or another clocked CV source, or to divide a master clock to get traditional note durations, or even to get distinctive sub-oscillation. With this module you can easily do stylish complex hi-hat patterns, or create unusual polyrhythmic textures. The linear mode also allows creating patches which imitate game console sound effects.

Modules are shipped as DIY kits. The PCB supports Eurorack format as well as open modular formats such as MOTM and accepts both 12v and 15v supply. It is designed to be easily expanded to add a number of additional features such as: individual reset inputs, advanced signal routing and mode selection. Even when there is no expander, the module can be configured with a few jumpers. Each part has its own dedicated micro-controller in order to achieve the best performance. The firmware is written in assembly language ensuring minimal latency."

via the seller: "This auction is for our vintage Yamaha CS-80 Synthesizer, Serial #1463. This is possibly the finest auction piece we’ve ever sold—this CS80 is in the best condition we’ve ever seen! We’re selling for a friend, who was the only owner and who kept it in his house all this time, hardly touched. It has to be seen in person to believe it—it looks brand new and the keys look like they haven’t been touched in all this time—there is no photograph that can translate how beautiful this instrument looks when you’re standing right in front of it. It goes without saying that the sound is to die for.

We had it checked thoroughly and all it needed were some minor repairs (the only fix of note was one voice card was replaced because it was slightly distorting), and some general cleaning. Even the shop said this is in incredible shape, better than they’ve ever seen. If you’ve been looking for a vintage CS-80, this one is the perfect choice whether you’re a collector or a player. It comes with everything in the pictures—two pedals, the legs, top cover, manual."
