"On April 22nd 2015 Matttech Modular put on a workshop at Madlab in Manchester, UK, featuring William Mathewson from WMDevices, where he kindly demonstrated his new range of modules. These were designed in collaboration with Steady State Fate's Andrew Morelli and we got to see the much-anticipated Monolith keyboard in all its glory. William also ran through some of WMDevices' classic designs - such as the Geiger Counter, Synchrodyne and PDO mk.2.

In part 5 William takes us through the Mini Slew module and like the rest of the videos the rest of the system is in use throughout."

"Just a little experimental outdoor ambient jam with a Korg Volca Keys and some electromagnetic noises from a mobile. The Volca is sequenced by the App "Poly" and spiced up with AUFX:Dub and the noises are slightly processed with Sugarbytes' WOW on the iPad."

"Like many of my generation, I was very fascinated by the "shoegaze" genre in the late '80s / early '90s. This is a piece that I composed in that vein, in remembrance of those days of youth.
