"This one-of-a-kind custom painted Access Virus TI2 Darkstar is like new in absolute mint condition. I bought it from a good friend who bought it new and had it painted at Custom Synth UK, and as you can see in the pictures, it features a sleek black paint with red LED lights and a red backlit screen. I used it very sparingly, as I ended up using my other gear much more at the Darkstar's expense. It's a shame to have it lying around practically untouched, so I decided it was time to sell it. It is in perfect condition in every way, and it looks and operates as though I just took it out of the box yesterday. All the original banks are still on it, and I have loaded some banks from the Virus A, B, and C onto it as well (but these can be removed or replaced whenever you please). The original owner covered park of the back with black electrical tape to cover the special edition name painted on by Custom Synth UK to give the back a completely black look, which I left on, but it comes right off if peeled."
The design of the PRO-12 ASB is now regarded as classic synthesizer style. Two oscillators with multiple waveforms (which may be played independently or simultaneously) constitute the main sound source. The oscillators are mixed with white noise in the mixer section, then routed through the 24dB lowpass reso¬nating filter and amplifier section. The filter and amplifier each have their own dedicated envelope curve with attack, decay, sustain and release controls. The filter envelope, oscillator B and the LFO (low frequency oscillator) can also be routed to different modulation destinations. One of the major highlights of the PRO-12 is that many interesting combinations of modulation source and destination can be accessed using the mod wheel and the 'poly mod' section. We have added some contemporary features which the original synth lacked: a full effects section comprising chorus, flanging and delay, keyboard aftertouch and MIDI clock synchronisation. In addition, the PRO-12 ASB now has 12 voices - when played in 'unison mode', this produces amazing results."
"Just installed the Malekko Wiard Boogie Filter and wow!
So, here's take one. the ol' gettin to know you and then some. more Wiard please.
MakeNoise DPO into Boogie filter.
the Filter is being heavily modulated by Mutable Instruments Tides.
Also, installed Erica Synths Polivoks VCF clone, which makes a subtle & brief but poignant appearance herein. Enjoy some mad wiard filtering!"
"I enjoy doing these "first patch" videos. It no doubt says a lot to show what I end up doing literally as the first thing once a new module goes in the rack. That said I'm playing around with only part of the sonic palette this things offers, it's gorgeous and horrible when you want it to be! :-)"

This is the Pittsburgh Modular DNA Symbiotic Waves module. The DNA of the design, if you will, comes from a prototype synthesizer from Spacehardware called the Cygnx. The idea is that two digital wavetable oscillators could be combined using various forms of processing to create a digital super-wave. Each of the two oscillators can be one of sixteen different wavetables. It just gets crazier when you think about being able to detune one of the oscillators, up to an octave, above the other. You can also use control voltages to vary the amount of processing that takes place. In this video I show you how.
The first part of the video I show the basics of how to operate the module. Then after, I punish my Tascam DR-05 direct recorder with ridiculous digital sonic mayhem. Play at your own risk."
"Before his performance at Form Festival, we snagged Jacques Greene to put together a demonstration of the Mother-32 Analog Synthesizer. Set in the Arcosanti Urban Laboratory's cast-metal bell foundry, Greene shows Mother-32 as a component of a minimal-hardware integrated-system. Mother-32's internal sequencer is clocked from the Elektron Octatrack via MIDI, while simultaneously receiving a filter-modulating analog control voltage from the TT-303 Bass Bot. An Eventide Reverb is used to impart a spacial depth to the piece.
