Tic-Tac Pussy Magnet. Samplr Animoog Model 15 Sunrizer Patterning iM1 jam seq'd by Genome
Published on Oct 22, 2016 exnihilo415
"Had too much fun with this one. Playing with Samplr on perhaps the most famous sound sample of the month, The Donald's pussy grabbing audio.
Patterning is doing all the percussion
Animoog: bassline
iM1: Rave-y and syncopated lead
Sunrizer: Big analog wash pad patch
Model 15: Final analog-ish lead after the wash
Donald Trump's very own Tic Tac container is doing the shaker.
Keep your eyes open for a dancing pussy somewhere in this video."

SynthCube Acquires and Continues Music From Outer Space
As many of you know, Ray Wilson of Music From Outer Space passed away on July 21. There has been some speculation as to what would happen to MFOS. Ray Wilson's projects and website have been an incredible resource to the DIY community, and those looking to introduce themselves to the world of synth DIY. Well, I am happy to announce that SynthCube will be keeping the world of MFOS alive.
"SynthCube is delighted to announce the acquisition of Music From Outer Space. In cooperation with Ray Wilson's surviving spouse Debra, the 'Maiden of MFOS,' we are developing plans to extend Ray's work indefinitely. The MFOS website will remain in place, with all of its great content, humor and documentation. Plans are underway to continue to make the MFOS pcbs, panels etc available via our synthCube webstore, as well as other authorized MFOS stores and websites who choose to stock those items. Not only will the website and product line continue, plans are to extend it. Full kits, panel mount pcbs, reduced size euro-friendly boards, panels, pre-built products... all possibilities are on the table. More details to follow!
In honor of Ray Wilson, we will be establishing a memorial scholarship fund to support education in the areas of electrical engineering, audio, electronic music etc. We are also exploring avenues to use Ray's designs to supplement STEM teaching and training in a number of venues.
Existing MFOS inventory is available now via www.synthcube.com/cart. Plans are underway to restock any unavailable items.
Please refer any questions to us via the synthCube contact form or email."

Solaris Analog Programs - Part1
"Some of my custom Solaris programs recorded in mono with and without fx, through modified Toft ATB analog mixer. Musically not very interesting, but to give an idea of how close to an analog synthesizer the fully digital Solaris can sound. Most sounds have been recorded without fx, but after 2:40 I introduce some analog Electro Harmonix guitar pedal fx (commented in the timeline). In the last two sounds I used the Waldorf wavetables and "Jaws" (JP-80x0 supersaw) waveforms with logic digital stereo delay and Relab LX480 reverb. Some of the sounds utilize the built-in eq of the Solaris, but not the fx."
Digital Keyboards Synergy Vintage Polyphonic Synthesizer

"Up for sale, a Digital Keyboards Synergy model polyphonic synthesizer in exceptional, near mint condition and in perfect working order. Of the estimated 700-800 Synergy keyboards originally produced, it's estimated that less than 100 are still in existence, and this example is easily one of the cleanest and most complete, with the original pedal, manual, and paperwork. This synthesizer was produced from 1982-85, and Digital Keyboards was a high-end US-based division of the Italian company Crumar. Using a high speed additive oscillator system developed by Bell Laboratories, Digital Keyboards created a sophisticated additive synthesizer known as the Crumar General Development System (GDS). While the GDS originally had a price tag of a whopping $27,500, the Synergy was a moderately stripped down version that sold for a mere $5,300 (roughly $13,000 when adjusted for inflation). A favorite of pioneering electronic music composer Wendy Carlos and a synth that has inspired a fervent following, the Synergy was state of the art in its time and is an enduring classic today.
The cosmetic condition of this Synergy is exceptional, as evidenced by the photos, with only a couple light scuffs on the plastic top and tolexed exterior. The original dual foot pedal is included, along with an IEC power cable, the manual, and other original paperwork."
