"The Jupiter 6 is an incredible analog synthesizer. The Jupiter series is known for their unique sound, which is unlike any other synthesizer!! This originality comes from the classic analog Roland filter, modulation capabilities and a fat cluster of 12 analog oscillators at 2 per voice. A very easy to use thing with amazing tweaking capabilities.
What makes this unit even more appealing is its MIDI, allowing you to sync this classic synth with your favourite DAW. The Europa Firmware by Synthcom Systems Inc. provides even more stable MIDI. The Europe Firmware also features an extensive arpeggiator, which will sync to MIDI clock."

"We dont need another hero" - on Roland SH-2000
Published on Dec 5, 2016 organfairy
"I had just been to a Christmas party so before putting the clothes back into the closet I thought I might as well use them in a music video. So I hope you can excuse that I am a little more dressed up than usual.
Anyway
'We don't need another hero' was a big hit for Tina Turner in the mid 1980s. It was also featured in one of the Mad Max movies. Here I play it on Technics SX-C600 and Elka X-1000 organs, Roland SH-2000 synthesizer and my old Yamaha saxophone. I had to play the sax solo an octave lower than the original because I am not so good at doing overtones or flageolett which would have been necessary for the original tonal range."

Conway's Game of Life synth module
Published on Dec 5, 2016 thenervoussquirrel
"Quick test of a trigger module for modular synth. 64 outputs controlled by a MIDI input, or 'game of life' mode using John Conway's cellular automaton rules.
The video shows a few percussion modules connected, but it can of course be used to trigger envelope generators, sequencer steps etc.
