Super Rare 70's STRIDER SYSTEMS MICROSEQUENCER USEQ

via this auction

Here's something you rarely see. This is actually the first image of one to be featured here on MATRIXSYNTH. RetroSynth Ads has a write-up on the brochure for one posted here. You can find additional posts on Strider via their label here on MATRIXSYNTH.

Update: according to this price list, these went for $569 when released.

Update2: I didn't notice at first, but the tree logo appears to represent roots to trace nodes. How cool is that? Thanks to @RetroSynthAds for calling out the cool logo.

"Vintage Original EMS Synthi AKS synthesizer in NEAR MINT condition. My father purchased a EMS Synthi AKS synthesizer in ruff condition. For many years he kept this Synthi in its original box and never put a hand on it.The unit is currently in working order and has been basically untouched and un-used."

Good price as well considering.

Update: I have a couple of reports in that this one might be a scam. Priced at 5,271.81 it may be too good to be true. As always be careful!

Update2: here it is from 2012.

Gerudo Valley Theme - 8-Bit Cover on a Korg MS-20

Published on Jan 15, 2017 NickBarraMusic

"Back again with another 8-Bit track on my Korg synth! This one is an adaptation of the Gerudo Valley theme from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

I went for the traditional NES sounds on this one (triangle, square, pulse waves + white noise); however there are several more tracks than would have been possible on an NES.

Hope you enjoy!"

Carl Mikael's Cabinet of Curiosities Intro to Modular

Published on Jan 15, 2017 Carl Mikael's Cabinet of Curiosities

"This is a video adaptation of a live lecture I did during Eter Festival. There the subject was ”Introduction to Subtractive Synthesis”, but I felt I strayed into modular territories. So for this tutorial I’ve decided to split the content into two parts:

Intro to Modular - Part 1 Subtractive Synthesis (how to make bass, kick, hats and snare)
Intro to Modular - Part 2 Pulsewidth, Sync and FM (examples of lead and pad)

The examples take part on the Nord Modular. A superior environment for learning synthesis.
