277r Delay with CV Filtering

Published on Apr 10, 2017 djangosfire

"Exploring the 277r Buchla format digital delay.

A casual walk through and demo of the 277r using CV to control the delay rate AND a LPG to tame the crunchy tone of the 277r.

Patch:

Audio into 277r, output into 292e LPG, out to mixer.

I use a 256r dual cv processor to send CV to the 277r AND the 292e LPG.

Thank you - Djangosfire

PS - in the vid I keep saying 1/2t inputs.... in fact I meant 'outputs' :)"

"Demoing the sequencer, arpeggiator, two different sounds and the effects on the Toraiz AS-1 mono synth from Pioneer DJ and Dave Smith.

The Toraiz AS-1, from Pioneer DJ in collaboration with Dave Smith, is a phat sounding monophonic synthesizer that brings new creative worlds into the studio. It contains the same filter present in Dave Smith's legendary Prophet-6, as well as continuously variable triangle, sawtooth, and pulse waveshapes for extreme timbral manipulation. Even with the fully analog signal path, there is a digital brain that controls all the parameters, allowing one to save 495 different presets for quick recall of one's favorite sounds. Not only are the filters taken from the Prophet-6. The FX bank is also included in the AS-1, which provides a BB Delay, Distortion, Ring Mod, Chorus and Maestro Phaser.

"Lorre-Mill Double Knot sending stereo out to two Recovery Cutting Room Floor Delay/Reverbs for extreme stereo sounds.

The most original and versatile release from Recovery Effects to date. Unlike any effect you’ve heard before, it offers mountains of wild modulation, delay, freeze and stutter. Anything from light lo-fi chorus to broken-tape-deck sounds can be achieved with this unique pedal. Melt, then freeze tones in place, or use it as a gritty echo or faux reverb.

Available here: https://www.perfectcircuitaudio.com/r...

The Double Knot is a 100% analog desktop modular synthesizer and sequencer with a large amount of indeterministic and random possibilities. The Double Knot's stereo, dual voice architecture allows it to be used to generate a wide variety of abstract rhythms from the interplay of its two sequencers, and both oscillators can be used to intermodulate at both CV and audio-rate frequencies. A great way to generate minimal and pointillistic grooves.

Vintage Sequential Circuits Prelude Polyphonic Analog Synthesizer

"Up for purchase is this vintage Sequential Circuits Prelude polyphonic analog synthesizer that is in excellent condition. There is some minor wear to the finish but this keyboard really looks nice overall. Two of the slider tip inserts were missing, so I made some out of painted paper, and now they blend in with the rest. The synth was recently cleaned and serviced: all keys were cleaned, sliders were cleaned and lubricated(several have a little firmer movement than the others, but they move freely), switches and terminals were cleaned. Unit was tested and is fully functional and plays great! Instruments can be combined to make a fuller sound. There are a pair of pop-up legs on the rear of the bottom to raise the back higher."
