"Serviced Last year.

Bought a CHD Midi kit some months ago, now in box.

Flanger, Vibrato, Joystick, and all other functions work as they should.

It has three sections of sounds to use individually, in parts split upon the keyboard, or even groups of different combinations between Synthesizer (Synth), Brass, and Strings. I personally love using the brass and synth for creating drum sounds, they give a nice punch due to the analog nature. The strings have a nice bowing and ensemble as well as vibrato effects too.

With the Trident, you have extra effects built in such as Vibrato and a Flanger (which can be selected to be used with whichever sound section is chosen).

Some signs of wear and tear which is normal for a synth of this age, but overall it's a pretty good looking synth."

"Has been tested thoroughly & works 100%, absolutely no issues. Sounds awesome & creates those classic analog drum sounds.
Made in England in the 1980s and ridiculously rare to come across.

Has a trigger/input for each of the drums (bass, snare, hi tom, med tom, low tom)
Each can be controlled with sensitivity level & output level.
Each drum also has it's own output (if you want to pan individually into your DAW), or you can run mono or stereo out of master outputs.

Controls for each drum: Sensitivity / Filter / Pitch / Bend / Hit Samples / Body / Decay / Noise / Click
Save programs/patches. Trigger LEDs for each drum. Drums can be triggered by a sequencers, trigger pads, etc."

ASR X Lo-Fi Bit Crusher FX

Published on Apr 13, 2017 The Daydream Sound

"Reducing the bit rate of your samples on the Ensoniq ASR X drum machine is easy and useful especially for Lo-Fi Boom Bap Hip-Hop. It’s a great feature for shading the tone of your sounds. In this was bit crushing can be used as subtle form of EQ.

Here’s how you do it:

1. Start by pressing the “Sound” button in the track section and scroll until you get to the “Utility Silence” page. This will make sure that all the pads of the ASR X are blank with no sounds.

2. Start with any sample you want and load it to one of the open pads.

3. Once a sound is loaded, select that pad by pressing it and then press the “Process” button in the “Pad” section.

4. Scroll until you see “Reduce Sample Bits?”

5. Press the “Yes” button

6. You’ll be taken to a page where you can select the bit rate you want to use. (You can select between 15 bits to 1 bit).

7. Press the “Yes” button to confirm your selection.

8. That’s it your done?

Thanks for listening Everyone!"
