Pics of the inside below.

"The Prophet 2002 is a rack-mount MIDI module version of the famed Prophet 2000 keyboard. It features 8-voice polyphony, a 12-bit ADC/DAC, 8 analog Curtis Voltage Controlled Resonant Filters (VCFs), 8 analog ADSR's, up to 30 seconds of sample memory, and 3.5" floppy disk drive for storage.

The Prophet 2002 is a VERY rare piece of gear, and extremely hard to find in this excellent working and cosmetic condition.

The Sequential Circuits Prophet 2002 Digital Rack-mount Sampler is an awesome example of Dave Smith's early 80's design team. They had the skills to cram a TON of features and power elegantly into a small package.
This unit has been serviced and cleaned, and works perfectly, and sounds fantastic!
All the potentiometer knobs have been serviced, cleaned and lubricated.
The floppy disk drive has been cleaned, and fully tested to read and write reliably.
The ADC has been bias adjusted to ensure no DC offset when sampling. The inputs and outputs have all been cleaned and fully tested. The internal PSU capacitors have passed inspection.

This machine is 100% functional
This unit recently came to us from a studio storage facility, where it spent the last 20+ years boxed up awaiting the 12-bit sampler renaissance."

"All lights, keys, knobs and buttons tested and work fine. No servicing ever needed. Original owner.

exceptions: volume knob is audibly "scratchy" when moved. Very minor dent on right side (above moog logo). Pitch and mod wheels rotate beyond what seems normal (but does not cause a problem when used). Pitch wheel is not as fluid as modern designs. Parameter knob has a very slight friction area. This does not reduce the smooth turning of it and can still be freely spun quickly."

"This keyboard has been recently serviced by Abell Music in Columbus OH and brought into 100% working condition. I have the receipt from previous owner. The VCOs,VCF. Ring Mod, CV/Gate/Trigger/Audio Input and Pedal inputs, every slider, switch, knob works as they should. Only defect is a small scratch scratch by the screw next to the inputs (see pic). The flight case is in near-mint condition with one dime-size scuff mark."

"This is a series of very short more or less successfull tryouts with the Teenage Engineering PO-32 Tonic. On the one hand to help me getting to know this little beast better and on the other hand to show you some of its sonic and performance capabilities. Most of the jams do not use the default drumkit but selfmade ones synced from Sonic Charge's Microtonic. Enjoy!"
