New Super Signal Processor Audio Demo - Picard's Dream

Just in via the updates for Percussa's Super Signal Processor:

"Hi everyone! Just recorded a new audio demo on our functional protoype of the Percussa SSP: wavetable oscillator with manual tweaking and modulations using LFO and EG, with global delay and reverb section enabled, recorded directly to SD card. Let me know if you'd like to hear specific features demo'ed!"

"This Akai AX60 Synthesizer works perfectly and sounds excellent! There is some light cosmetic wear. Most notably, the display panel for the octave and waveform functions are sunken down slightly from the surface- these controls and lights still work fine. Other than that there are a handful of light blemishes, mostly on the back panel."

"We are pleased to announce Tom Oberheim as guest of honour for Knobcon Number Six.

Mr Oberheim is the progenitor of the American polyphonic analogue synthesiser and designer of electronic music devices ranging from the Maestro Phase Shifter to the Oberheim DX drum machine. If you have listened to the radio in the past 40 years, it is impossible for you not to have heard sounds he had a hand in.

Tom will be speaking at the annual Knobcon Banquet as well as taking part in a live question-and-answer session hosted by Knobcon organiser Suit & Tie Guy.

Knobcon is a one-of-a-kind synthesizer convention now in it's sixth year. Complete with live music, workshops exhibitors and vendors, Knobcon allows for a fully immersive experience. Held just outside Chicago IL at the Hyatt Regency Schaumburg, the entire event takes place under one roof. If you are interested in electronic-based or experimental music and the tools used to create it, Knobcon is the place for you. The diversity and passion of the Knobcon experience make it enjoyable for all experience levels.

Admission for all 3 days is $50 at the door, $40 online during the month of August.
The Knobcon Banquet featuring Tom Oberheim’s keynote address is an add on to the standard admission. $50 per person, limited seating available.

Thanks to the success of the previous editions of TORINO SYNTH MEETING, we are collecting the memberships of many national and international exhibitors. SOUNDMIT is, with its specialization, the largest sector event in Southern Europe.

There are almost 40 brands that have joined the initiative, either directly or through Italian distributors, and many others are coming.

We know from today that some companies will present to the SOUNDMIT the major innovations in the world of musical instruments and previews, we have signed NDAs and we can not reveal anything at the moment, but we feel that the public will have a lot to see at the first Week of November.
