"Some highlights are Midi to CV conversion. Semi-Modular patchbay. Multi Mode Filter is amazing. Volume doesn't drop as resonance is increased which is awesome. Super snappy envelopes. It's like a 303 and a Pro One had a baby. Glide/portamento. Velocity sensitivity. 2 main oscillators + a sub oscillator that can also be an external signal, noise or ring modulator. Filter overdrive sounds fantastic. Very easy to overdrive the filter into insanity."

Roy Gwinn (who designed the original circuit in 1970s) and Chris Carter have worked with Finlay Shakespeare of Future Sound Systems to update and expand on the original Gristleizer with many updates and extras for the modular format.

This video is on the TG4 Modulator, which is the VCA in the series. But it's a highly characterful, drive, saturation and distortion module as well."
