"Rare 1970s Japanese bass synth. Superb condition. Definitely in the same territory as the Korg Synthe-Bass.

Simple controls are in Japanese but it takes just a few moments to work them out.

Serviced and working well.

In excellent condition showing very few signs of age. The case and all internal surfaces are extremely clean with no noticeable scuffs or dings in sight. See photos for more information on cosmetic condition."

"Rhodes Chroma Vintage Poly Analog- 16 voice. 1982
Wooden weighted keys, 64 key range (E1-G6)
True audiophile quality, is basically a polyphonic version of an ARP-2600
(ARP was the original designer) Comes with the original factory patches.

The memory board was replaced by a modified board that has MIDI and CC functions and multiple banks. (see photo) You no longer need to disassemble the unit to replace the AA battery.
The power-supply was replaced by a much more efficient and reliable unit, thats smaller and lighter.( See photo)

A sustain pedal and variable pedal is included with the sale.

This unit has typical wear but nothing too rash, after all, its 35-years old, and is fragile by nature. I don't recommend live gigging.

Custom made facsimile page made on heavy stock ( included) that is very useful.(see photo)
The unit comes in its original ATA padded flight case, which weighs nearly as much as the Chroma itself. The gross shipping weight is 125 pounds.

This unit was recently serviced by the same person who created the modifications."

Note the Clarke IMAGINATOR VCX-378. It's a module from none other than Vince Clarke of Yaz, Erasure, and early Depeche Mode fame. It was introduced back in 2015. What's odd is I haven't seen it featured in any online demos since then. This listing however is only for the stand. The modules and Analog Four are not included.

The MS Combi SKIFF stand raises the Elektron unit to the right angle for performance and programming making the production workflow a breeze and ensuring cables are not snagged or in the way.

The integral Modular Studio 66HP Skiff can be situated on top or bottom level over or above the Elektron unit.

The MS 66HP skiff is 5.5cm deep so will fit most Eurorack synth modules be sure to check your module depth before purchasing.

The MS Combi SKIFF stand stand can be oriented in 2 positions to have the keyboard face in desktop or upright positions.
The Kit includes 2 x stand cheeks and 4 x screws to attach to the Elektron synth or drum machine plus MS 66HP SKIFF with fixing screws plus screws and nuts to attach your Eurorack modules to use as a desktop Modular Synth / Elektron Combi stand
