Music Thing Modular Graphic EQ DIY Build
Published on May 22, 2018 LowGainElectronics
"Real time build of the MusicThingModular Graphic EQ. I recommend this build for beginners. Fixed filter banks are very useful and highly underrated. Available at www.ModularAddict.com The photo at the end shows how I modified the module by drilling the jack holes out to allow the jacks plastic bushing to it in the panel a little. Less space between the pcb and panel. I also added 2 nylon flat washers to each of the screws on the sliders. This allowed me to properly tighten the screws for the middle pcb support. Not 100% necessary, but it makes me feel better knowing it’s secure. ^_^ Happy SynthDIY’ing!!"

PROPHET-6 VS. SUB37: PATCH MATCH (No Talking)
Published on May 22, 2018 MR TUNA Music
"Just a few minutes comparing the sounds of the Dave Smith/Sequential Circuits Prophet-6 with the Moog Sub37 analog synthesizers. Just a simple bass patch and a lot of pointless noodling on the keys. The Sub is definitely darker and meaner but there's a lot to appreciate on either side of the equation--- what's your preference??"

"Keyboard works fully but between 5-6 keys will retrigger on release and one retriggers while depressed. Generally this can’t be heard, but is reflected in the gate light illuminating."
Likely the J-Wires and bar need cleaning.

Synthesizer Show & Tell - Roland Juno-60
Published on May 22, 2018 Steve Learson
Synthesizer Show & Tell EP: 3 Covers the Roland Juno-60.
Each week I challenge myself to write a piece of music using only one synth from my collection, and share some tips and tricks on how to use the instrument.
The Juno 60 is a 6 note DCO polyphonic synth from 1982 with memory storage, designated slider controls, and an arpeggiator. It has been used in many recordings from the 80’s to today.

"This video contains a short piece of music I wrote the first day I obtained this synth. This video highlights some sounds I made along with tips and tricks for the Behringer Model D Analog Synthesizer.
One issue I addressed is how to change the "Low Note Priority" from "Low," to "High," to "Last," which is a problem I could not find the solution to on the internet.
